Randy Ebright the band's drummer is a DEA's Agent son and is an American Citizen, he arrived to Mexico as a teenager and many years latter he married with a Mexican and had children. One day in an US airport the agents check his daughter, just for having a Mexican passport, as you can imagine, Randy felt very angry and wrote this song, after living too many years in Mexico, he feels like a Mexican, and his daughter's check was a an insult and a racism act.
Its not racism, in any case will be Xenofobia, that does not exists, because defending your country is not a disease, But of course, We Mexican do no like the fact that they had invaded us and take our land and even worst have been changing our way of life since then, but we have to acknowledge that we haven´t done it very well and that´s why saxons have adventage us in the last 200 years i think that instead of complaining and call them racist, xenofobic and others construct terms by the left, we ought to develop tecnology and economy, and also recover our faith and family values that is what really distinguish Latin culture.

This is probably one of the worst reaction videos I’ve seen for this song. This one and the one video where the girl says that it was such a good dance song. Please do your research before reacting. This song is so deep and extremely relevant to the times.

Molotov is a mexican band with an Américan member so its a binational band. Thats why the english part is so good. The american guy is actually the one that composed this theme against the way american mistreat immigrants. And años reminds them some facts like the drug problem is actually theie fault for being consumers.

This is a hispanic political band but in this song it talks about hispanics being discriminated by america as stereotypes based around mexicans
So this band is native from CDMX or México city but at the beginning they lost their drummer another Mexican and they started some auditions and this guy called Randy that is a US citizen he came to the audition and they gave him the job and since then they have been molotov. The origin of this song is that this guy Randy made a living in México City and he married a Mexican woman and they have two girls obviously Mexicans.
One time when they wanted to go to the US at the check point, ICE was very rude to them, the whole family even that Randy is a white dude but just because the girls were Mexican he said they did en exhausted check on them.
So the songs is about that insident and how ICE treats immigrants.
