Very nice sounding bells and for the information of you and others who view this, especially those who enjoy clocks that chime and strike as much as I do, the chime tune being played on the four bells that precedes the striking of the hour on the biggest bell is similar to the ever-famous Westminster chime, which also has four notes in each measure and if you want to skip to the chiming of the clock itself, it begins at the 0:48 mark. 🔔 🔔 🔔 🔔 🔔 ⛪
The melody is beautiful, distinctly different from the Westminster bells. It is in minor and that’s what’s drew my attention when I was in Copenhagen. I tried to record it on my phone but missed the right moment. The clock and the mechanism was built by Kemp & Lauritzen in 1902 and they're still responsible for maintaining it. It was the world's first fully electric tower clock mechanism and remains the oldest electric clock mechanism still running. It is controlled by two master clocks on the ground floor (well, one clock, the other is spare), which nowadays are in turn kept on time by an atomic clock, which makes this clock extremely accurate. There are tours up into the tower every weekday twice a day for a modest fee, but there is only stair access all the way to the top of the tower
It chimes every hour....but I wasn't staying up until midnight to film it going at 12, and in the morning we weren't going to staying at the Hotel that long.

Why does it chime at 10 and not at 12?
