Psychrometric Saturday: Return Duct Gains
Measuring the difference between the return air temperature and dewpoint at thr grille vs plenum can reveal how much heat the duct is picking up through conduction and leakage. A change in dewpoint almost always means a significant return duct leak.

Return ducts in the Attic
81.2° DB with 61° DP at the grille
90.5° DB with 68° DP at the unit in a laundry room
They didn't want to pay me to get into the attic and investigate... Yet. Just gotta let them sweat some more I guess.

Yes it is, he literally said “The unit Doesn’t keep up when it gets really hot outside, I think we need a Ductless mini split installed too”. 😕
