Love the content man! I’ve owned an MK7 and MK7.5 in the past and they were some of my favorite vehicles. I currently own a 900 whp built 2019 RS3, but watching your videos make me want to get another MK7 as a daily.

That car really goes. Considering that same turbo, but man you really have to be all in given the other mods that are needed with it.

Lightweight + big power = gaps served
VORTEX XL, 6spd manual longer gearing (better for roll racing as you could tell he was pulling so much more without having to shift as much as the other cars), proper tuning, proper mods, proper fueling.
Imagine if he gutted the interior and save himself 300-400lbs. Would be insanely faster

@@Hardwaretuned daily driving one that has 500hp shouldn’t be an issue. Reliability depends on how aggressive the tune is and if it’s seeing full tilt more often while on a higher tq calibration. Most ppl say Don’t go above mid 400s in tq

About $10k worth of mods and a built motor lol. Or, just buy a MK7 👍
Get a mk7. About 5k in mods you’ll make around 400-450whp
A built engine Lol just get a mk7 so much potential with the gen 3
Sell it for a MK7 would be step 1.
Not that 400whp is impossible on a MK6. It just requires a lot more to hit than the newer gen. But you'll need a larger hybrid or full frame for your MK6, and recommended to build the motor for reliability. But some nutcases are running big turbo MK6's stock motor. It's doable, but a ticking time bomb, and a ticking time bomb that you'll spend 2-3x the money to get where a MK7 can get and be more reliable lol
It was close with the N54. Looks like you could pull him in a little on the top end, but you lost a little bit every time you shifted.
