Samantha, this has been one of the most useful health podcast that I’ve watched in recent times. Most of them talk about gut health, but none of them have explained what happens if we don’t eat food the right way. Due to work, i was stressed a lot & used to have lunch in hurry, which actually messed up my gut health. Take a bow Alkesh!! You really explained what happens if food is not eaten right! I wish we have more people like you talking about basic and most important things and spreading awareness.

Sam i really appreciate u 4 doing this series..it vl be extremely helpful & eye opening for common people. just for ur awareness its not kanji he mentioned, its called iceBriyani(palaya saatham in tamil). This will not be given for who is ill as u said, bcz tat will cause cold & also usually any fermented food needs double energy for digestion. kanji is rice freshly cooked rice & grinded with water which is given for illness

Sam I request please make a topic of sleeping trouble maybe? Even someone had productive day all day long,went on bed as early 10pm and still find its difficult to sleep. Would you both brief it more in coming days? How do you prepare to sleep Sam and what time do you go to bed and awake in the morning. Do you put phone alarm or body alarm? There’s so much question. I love how honest she is❤️! Talking about those probiotic pills. Dr. Pal, talked about this few months back on a different podcast, said that those pills actually doesn't have probiotics. There is no research conducted or proven that probiotics can be preserved in pills.

Mam i request you to dis uss more about pains in body and joints especially, because in the podcast we were told to move the body, exercise. But to be honest moment is very difficult😢

After years of research i have found
1.Taking Morning sun for 15 min sets your rhythm of body - said by huberman
2. If you can afford it take AG1 - huberman takes it
3. Eating fermented foods is important
4. Variety of plants and fruits are very important for gut.
5. Eat seasonal and culture wise
6. Morning detox - coconut juice or petha juice
7. Eating foods from nature - energy is transferred from one form to another.
8. Whatever you see in market everything is meant for sell not good for your body so try to find organic direct from farm
9. Excercise is very important, we are meant to do something not just sit and work.

Yogurt is a dairy product, I heard that autoimmune affected people should not have dairy products.

Thank you for the question. In my experience, the dairy consumption tolerance differs from person to person. But as a best practice, if we are wanting to include yogurt, it's is best to make one at home from organic A2 raw milk. But if yogurt still isn't suting you, the last measure could be tempering (tadka) the yogurt before taking a call on stopping the yogurt completely.
