@@juanrotten556 Sorry, I missed your question. The tiller and the motor do not separate without unbolting a bunch of stuff. The tiller is meant to stay attached to the motor, unlike the Torqeedo Travel which comes off.
Probably want a Short Shaft, as the Extra Short is 20.67" from the transom mount to the center of the prop. The radius of the prop is 5.5". The sweet spot for the extra short is around 15"

The top of my transom mount support to the bottom of the hull is 16”. Would you recommend the extra short shaft at 20.6” or the short shaft at 24.6”?

I just got one. Tested it out in my living room and it won't go past 30 watts. Does it need to be in the water to get to a full 1,000 watts?
