    Thanks for the excellent video - it was really usefull, and extremely well done!
    One quick question - if the motor will be used exclusively in fresh water, should I use different anodes? Any other things that might be different from sea water use? Thanks again!

      We're glad that you found it helpful! If you're using the motor in freshwater, you don't need to rinse it to get the salt off, just to keep it clean. That's about it!

    Hello, how does the hydro charging feature work?

      The hydrogeneration feature is available on the Spirit Evo and Navy Evo outboards with ePropulsion batteries (not the Spirit 1.0 plus or 3rd party batteries). You leave the motor down while you're sailing, and the prop turning will charge the battery. You need to be doing at least 5-6 knots for the charge to be meaningful. It will charge at slower speeds, but very slowly.
