- Today we will learn a very complicated Russian letter - ъ, the hard sign, твёрдый знак! I have been trying to learn the Cyrillic alphabet by myself for a while, the first (and only) letter I have learned is soft-sign, it took me 10 months of study but I think I've finally got it - soft-sign is fairly easy to learn when you don't know any other letters.
Leaning a foreign language is always a challenge 🥰

I'm having a hard time imagining the difference between a soft and hard "с". I know in English a soft or hard "s" would sound like "z" or "s". Are there English sounds this can be compared to?
In Russian the easiest trick to make the Russian с soft, or any consonant for that matter, is to add little и after it 🥰

its not clear to me why Трех is pronounced as Трёх. Many times i see ё written as e
peugeot (pejo). Same as opex (не орёх). Еveryone knows how to pronounce it, so the rules are sometimes liiightly ignored. kidding

These are difficult to clearly explain, it depends on the two people, their ages and the relationship between them. "Your hands are on mine' - Your hands are touching my hands [this depends on the situation]
"Your hands are on me" A small girl complaining her brother's hands are touching her [unwanted]. Children acting normally - complaining about everything, "he keeps looking at me, tell him to stop".
