TITLE
Russian Alphabet with Examples and Slow Pronunciation // Learn Russian
Ah, this is much better for learning Russian. This is about my level. I was watching children's Russian shows but it was crushing my will to live, lol
lol same here. Trying to follow the speed of the shows was killing my brain
I was JUST doing that man, most of them were freaky 😭‼️
как носительница русского заяка говорю, что это очень хороший урок!:)
大学でロシア語を学んでいるが、日本語と似た発音も多く、学びやすい。
あと、文法も英語ほどシビアじゃないのでとっつきやすかった。
Здорово! Я люблю японский язык. ☺️
I'll just leave this comment for those who read it.
In Russian there are hard and soft sounds, most consonants have both a soft and a hard version, but some are exceptionally hard/soft, for example: Ж, Ц, Ш(hard) and Ч, Щ(soft).
The rest of the sounds are solid by default, but it's worth adding Е, Ё, И, Ь, Ю, Я how they immediately become soft.
And also О in the unstressed position is pronounced as А, but not everyone says that, yet some say О as О.
Also, Е and Я can be replaced by И, Or E on Я, another combination of letters СЧ usually sounds like Щ.
If you decide to start learning this language, then I'm sorry(There are many endings in this language that you need to remember)
At my age, it's worth the effort if only for memory practice. I'll probably never quite get it, but for once want to hang around till I get a few verbs!
Все верно, комрад!
No need be sorry communication is key. And regardless Russian language is cool despite the cases.
I'm having an awful time understanding this or even hearing the difference. Is there a place to learn it more in depth?
thats okay, thx brother
I will start to learn russian with these lessons. Thanks a lot.
Great!

I think I'll be dabbling in Russian through this channel. Please make more beginner videos.
Will do!
I totally agree with you. I love Russian language
Good job, it's completely right. Allow me to add a few points:
1. In English, there really is no exact equivalent for the sound "Ы," but that's not a problem. There's a somewhat unusual method for learning the letter and sound "Ы," but my experience shows that it works. Take a pencil in your teeth and pronounce the sound "И." This will help.
2. It's easier to understand the soft sign in the context of examples. In Russian, there's the word "Тень" (shadow). In English, it sounds like "ten'." If you remove the soft sign, the last consonant "н" will be pronounced as a hard sound. The same applies to words like "лень" (len') (laziness), "сельдь" ( s'el'd ') (herring), and others. With the hard sign, it's also quite simple. It indeed serves to make the sound before it hard. For a simpler understanding, you can consider it as the sound "й." It's not entirely correct, but it will help you avoid mistakes in pronunciation.
3. "Р" - you can draw an analogy with the Spanish "Р" sound. Also, remember the stereotypical parody of a Russian accent.
Excuse me, are you from an English speaking country?
@@user-kt5nj9sm1y доброго времени. Нет, я русскоговорящий
@@BrainVirgins я тоже. Меня поразил ваш пример со словом тень. И я подумал, что для иностранца такой способ научиться произносить мязгий знак это просто космос. Крайне не очевидный способ. Теперь все стало на свои места!)

For those who know English and try to learn Russian, a kindly reminder, when the "o" is not stressed, it pronounces as "a". That's why the “o” in Облако(cloud) also pronounced the same as "a" (This is what I learned from school as a Russian learner, if there's any mistakes, welcome to correct me!)
Perhaps I misunderstood you.
In a word Облако (Cloud) Two letters O. Both are written and read as O. The first O is stressed and cannot be read and written like A.
I don't quite understand... but, in the video, the first "o" and the second "o" in Oблако do sound different, right? The first one sounds like "o" as in "go." The second one sounds like "a" as in "car"
@@Jasmine_09_10_ Now I understand what you mean.
That's right, if O is not stressed, then A is read.
Even in our textbooks, transcription clearly shows this.
In ordinary speech, we do not pronounce the classic A sound there.
We have such a thing as deaf vowels that are not pronounced in full voice. In words Облако or Яблоко (apple) It's the voiceless vowels. At the same time, in the word Яблоко, the deaf A occurs twice, because the stress on the letter Я.
I hope I didn't confuse you))
I want to note that you are very good at understanding the rules of the Russian language.
Believe me, your pronunciation of the A sound in the word apple will not be of particular importance. I will understand you without any problems. Nobody expects perfect Russian from a foreigner.
@MoneyMaker-ek2nd Thanks a lot for taking another example to clarify. 😀
Здесь вы ошиблись. Именно в этом слове все слова произносятся точно также как пишутся. Иначе полностью поменяется значение слово. Успехов вам в обучении.
good job
Aprender este idioma es muy bueno, muy divertido, pero tengo un pequeño pedido tuyo, ¿hay algún libro con ejercicios para estas letras? porque es mucho más fácil de escribir, gracias de antemano.
You are Rocking
Thank you!
This is really great video for Russian learners. Thank you for sharing. How can I continue the next lessons
I liked 👍 ♥
Glad you liked it!
Привет это хорошо💪
Just brushing up on a few letters but before I learned any words I learned to read and it helps to develop a proper native accent.
My reading is about a first grade level speed wise but I never took it bast a few pleasantries and learning to read.
I can read a book but I don't know what it says.
Muy bueno,no se porqué tiene tan poquitos líke....
A mí me gustó. Voy por un cuaderno y lápiz....
Waww thank you,it was quite easy for me
Great!

Will do!
I am about to learn Russian language. It seems easy.
Good luck :)
когда нибудь ты узнаешь, что есть 2 русский язык, что слова в русском языке в приложениях могут каверкать так, что поймёт лишь сам русский. Так что удачи

Thanks for spelling Й as J, some spell with Y instead, which is wrong
Why is it wrong?
Спасибо 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Не за что!
Х can be pronounced as 'h' or 'kh'.
Key AKA ключ ✨🔑✨
I like this video, although I noticed something. the bolded font for the letter is actually repeated that confuses me when I read the word. it is like trying to map (i.e 33, or A,a) trying to match it in the word

I always thought that english equivalent to "ы" is the "i" sound that is preceded by the firm consonant, like in words "stop it", "put it" etc, but it's more apparent when the consonant is "p"
You're on the right track! The Russian vowel "ы" doesn't have a direct equivalent in English, which can make it a bit tricky for English speakers to pronounce. The example you provided with words like "stop it" or "put it" is a good way to approximate the sound. In these cases, the "i" sound is somewhat similar to the Russian "ы" when it's preceded by a firm consonant like "p" or "t".
The letter a could be written stork, watermelon ( Аист, арбуз)
The good
Wonderful video thank you 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hi, i just wanna ask? What is bear in russian actually ?
Some said meid veid some says mischa
Both! Мишка is dimunitive for медведь
@@RussianLevel1 thx u
this is how we sometimes call a bear, it does not mean the same thing, when we say "bear" it means generally a random bear in the world, and misha, this is ours, from Russia.

Better to say the letter name and the sound it makes, and then the example
When the man says the letter B it sounds different than when the woman says it. Is this correct?
They sounds the same to me

Why does я in apple have an accent, that doesn't seem to change anything?
Я is stressed and pronounced more intense than other vowels

If 'е' is [ye] then 'есть' is [yest'] -- instead of [est']. Same way [vetka] probably should be [vyetka].
Note: ы sound = y sound

No, "ы" is not the same as "y" in easy
Русская буква "Л" отдельно всегда произносилась как "Эл", то есть без "Ь".
