Interesting that you guys would talk about 911 while discussing this band. Incubus played the first concert in NYC after 911, it was the first Saturday after the towers fell. Even the day of the show we didn't know if there would have it but they did. They helped provide a collective release that everyone there needed, it was an epic concert.
As a guitarist watching these reaction videos. Nobody recognizes mikes guitar effects and the fucked up chords/licks he’s playing and how hard it is to replicate that guitar effect. He’s a genius
Agreed. I used to be in a band that played this and it was very, very difficult to play primarily because I didn't have the pedal/rig setup Mike has. I'm flipping between pedals like a freaking maniac trying to recreate the sound.
I love this song, but I’m always bummed the same radio hits get requested. Incubus is SUPER diverse - metal, prog, jazz, pop, electronic, Chinese traditional, etc.
I'm an Incubus fan. I was introduced to them through the radio right around the release of Morning View. I listened to that album and worked my way backwards. I've had/heard all of their albums. They're my favorite band but I still get tired of Drive because it's been so played. I skip that song most times. Sometimes, I'll listen.

This band really stood out to me amongst the rest of the Nu Metal stuff I really didn't like. The lyrics are incredible!! This song especially has the ability to conjure mental imagery

I have no idea how popular this song is globally but I always enjoyed the song "Warning". I would recommend the video along with it.

Drive is my least favorite song from them. I just didn't feel it anywhere near as much as Stellar, I Miss You, Pardon Me or Wish You Were Here.
