- Thank y'all for your patience as I know this system test was long awaited. I hope y'all enjoy it, and let me know if you like it by giving a thumbs up and if you aren't yet, why not subscribe?
Hey, I'm on Flickr! www.flickr.com...

The 9838 horns often have different sounds, so the ones I installed for my home system have a sort of musical harmony.
Professor Fire Safety thats really cool
Glad to see more system tests from you!! Nice setup!!
Nice man! Absolutely love the changes!!!!!! Can't wait until the next system test!!!
I love the pullstations
It's totally been a VERY long time since a test was commenced!
Awesome re-work of the system, and very professional looking setup! Those devices cleaned up pretty nice as well.
The part where you pulled off the door handle and the end where the other one fell off was funny!!!
Video turned 5 years old today!
it sounds pretty good when the horns are in sync together
Cool! I love your guys' system. It reminds me of the science wing at my school except they have 9104 strobe plates (15-75cd version) and 9846 (100db horns). It's tied in with the older 2903 9101 and 2901 9838 combos that my school also has, coded to march time.
Very nice setup looks very professional... someone got a new subscriber
6:27 Jammin To Those Vintage Simplex Alarms LOL
great to see that you're back, I still have several boxes of fire alarm stuff if you're interested
I am glad to be back as well, buddy! God, I have too many devices at the moment, we barely know where to put them as it is.
Interesting that you think 9838s are loud. I think there actually quiet my school has them
It sounds like a New Age server alarm's system test 26.1
Yes it does
i agree
12:17 The panel piezo pitch has gotten slightly lower from the 1st system test in this video here: th-cam.com/video/gTWuoIt6KQU/w-d-xo.html where it was at 2.5 Khz and now it's at 2.3 Khz. It seems that the pitch of the piezo decreases by 100 Hz every year on the 1st of January because it's a electro-mechanical piezo that has "moving parts" and they tend to change overtime, thus dropping the pitch which is very similar to what happens if you never tune a piano as the pitch of the piano goes down overtime due to the "moving parts" shifting overtime. Here's the panel piezo pitch change overtime if he still did system tests.
2015: 2.5 Khz
2016: 2.4 Khz
2017: 2.3 Khz
2018: 2.2 Khz
2019: 2.1 Khz
2020: 2.0 Khz
2021: 1.9 Khz
2022: 1.8 Khz
2023: 1.7 Khz
2024: 1.6 Khz
2025: 1.5 Khz
2026: 1.4 Khz
2027: 1.3 Khz
2028: 1.2 Khz
2029: 1.1 Khz
2030: 1.0 Khz
2031: 900 Hz
2032: 800 Hz
2033: 700 Hz
2034: 600 Hz
2035: 500 Hz
2036: 400 Hz
2037: 300 Hz
2038: 200 Hz
2039: 100 Hz
2040: 0 Hz (The panel piezo no longer makes any sound at all which is not good)
It will take 25 years if he still did system tests for the Fire-Lite MS-10UD's panel piezo to no-lonegr make any sound. The reason why the panel's piezo is electro-mechanical and not electronic thats used in normal panels such as Simplex and adressable Notifier Systems is because these panels that are made by Fire-Lite with the similar ones from Notifier all have cheap parts and the electro-mechanical piezo is much cheaper than an electronic piezo
6;46 sounds like the 2901 9806 from system test 26.1 in newageserveralarm
Its alright with trying to be professional with the setup but there are some systems where a horn HAS to be replaced with a completely different alarm. Plus I like systems with multiple electromechanical horns, but this one is cool also. I hope you have more horns to set up different systems that are electromechanical!
At 6:50 it sounds like a wheelock 7002t’S
Hopefully you get to find out what the new voice evacuation system sounds like.
I like it!
awesome system test. If you take requests could you do it in code 3?
I think the keyhole has two pins for the older notifier key and fire lite key
Can those strobes be synchronized at all?
Nice I love the all simplex are you selling any of the extra stoppers or horn strobes
As of right now, I don't have any plans to.
TheLilRubix1 ok I was just wondering
my elementary school had these but it was the light plate version and it was the
oh if it's non-voice evacuation messages they are electromechanical or just mechanical horn strobes please either do march time code 3 or continuous please I don't think you got the California code option.
When is the next system test video?
Expect some this summer?
I hate these things IRL, but on TH-cam there is volume control! 😃
Door knob was the funniest time
Hi. So I have a quick question. Do you have to have a control panel to run Smoke Detectors in a system? Because I'm wanting to set up a little system around my room (until I get a control panel), but I really don't have the money to invest into a panel. Thanks.
Nathan Fox As long as you can connect the system in some way with a power supply, you don't need a panel. I have a small system, and it works fine without a panel.
I went to a school that the alarms still strobed after the system was halted for a few minutes
Why did the doorknob come out
I have the new model but it’s the same model number for the simplex pull station
So those strobes cannot be synced? And do u by chance have a federal signal v1971 strobe u can include in your next test?
abunch of different alarms going off at once is not real? My high school has that, they have Gentex C3, Mechanical Code continuous. Simplex 4903 9238, another simplex model, and an old simplex model can't remember the name. not to include the Wheelock AS' and Spectr Alert Advance alarms also there. I spotted a wild Spectr Alert Classic too.. So yeah it sorts is around. Don't get me started on the portables either.
You should had a push to exit button in case the door handle pops out
What school is that and march time I can handle along with the other two sounds
The horns are in sync when they’re sounding
what is the light plate number
what happened to the voice evacuate?
how did it break
I see why u have it on march time because contentious would be so loud.
But code 3 would be louder late comment
@@VOLTRONDEFENDER4440 yes but at least code 3 your ears can have a little break between sounds of 3 in a row
@@matthewgregory8218 yea make sense
awesome!
Can you do code 3 on this system?
Can I request some alarms
Hello this is Tariccus like your fire alarm vedio
that area if cleaned out could be usefull and fixed up a bit.
Is the firelite voice evacuation ever going to be fixed?
So far, I don't see it. It is going to way out cost what we paid for it, and while I love voice evac, it takes away the fun as there's only so many changes you can make as a whole to a voice evac system.
TheLilRubix1 ok, still awesome though!
Hi, I need help wiring up my Tbar like the one you had on the right in the beginning of the video.
If you're trying to wire it directly from a power source to an alarm, one lead, positive or negative, it doesn't matter, goes straight to the alarm. The other lead gets stripped in the middle. The pull station should either have just two screws or wires coming out, if it has four screws, use the labeled 1 and 2. One wire goes in one terminal, the other goes in the other terminal. Think of it as a flood gate. Once pulled, it releases the current.
Could you like, get a skype and help me? I don't get this, I'm a beginner with like 3 alarms.
Got a BG-12 and I fired my as off, loud!
Anyone else notice he spelled rubiks wrong?
Can I have the Simplex smoke detector
Actual test at 6:28
Cool!
i got a bg 12 yay
And my sister ordered me a fci pull station
11:22 well that’s an epic fail…
I see a hard drive by the WD40
about ttime
I agree, but please do keep in mind that I am under no obligation to make these system tests, so I do ask that you respect when I upload them rather than expect them.
I know I know that it takes time good work!
11:21 LOL!!!!!!!!
set your fire Charles off set your fire trucks off cuz I like fire drill tristen meyer
Just brakes
on this coding
take off the tape
I know fire alarm system
