- Here's another video that's apart of my system test series. In this series, I test different fire alarm devices with different fire alarm control panels to show how they all work together. It gets a little loud in this test :D

These videos remind me of my dad who used to work for simplex testing fire alarm systems in schools. He used to give me the old retired equipment and even took me on a few jobs to test the alarms.
The first alarms you pulled it made a good beat.

@@only_ramenYou couldn't hear the horn outside though, so I guess it wasn't TOO bad. Now the first elementary school I attended had the old bullhorn-style Edwards (I think) 5520-N5 horns, if that was the model number from the 1950s. That thing could be heard a block down the road!

I see why it's called the 10UD. 10UD equals LOUD! Just kidding. It's just a nickname for it, depending on what kind of notification appliances there are. The System Sensor SpectrAlert, though, is VERY loud. Every time, I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME, the fire alarms went off at my elementary school, I cover my ears. They are still quite loud to me these days.
