Damn. Can't believe 20 years went by so fast. I never go to play this game as I lost interest in games when it was released. I was going to college but I did play Sands of Time on the OG Xbox. Can't believe I lost track of time and missed this game. Didn't know there were other games following Sands of Time.

Same here my favourite was the two thrones Edit:when i played the warrior within on the ps3 i couldn't proceed to the final boss because the teleporter that changes time was glitched so i never finished it😞

So I reset the game and opened a previous save file and I was the sand wraith. I wasn’t trying to get the mask at any point and no matter which save file I opened I was always the sand wraith. I’ve never seen this on TH-cam and I don’t know why this happened
@@hasnainsoofi8088 Use the Save Game Editor. Use it to change the level progress to your real status. Game "thinks" you are more up than you really are, so converts you on the sand wraith before the right moment.

Though The Sands of Time game may be debated as being the best of the trilogy due to its originality and innovative atmosphere that it brought to the gaming scene trend setting the stage for future sequels and many other games that would follow, hands down Warrior Within was and has remained my personal favorite of the entire trilogy and it really brings a nostalgic smile to my face watching it being played here taking me back down memory lane playing through what could basically have been considered a game that was way ahead of its time 😊...I 100% it back in the day finding all 9 life upgrades, hidden special weapons, the unlockable artworks and getting the water sword (most powerful weapon in the entire game) and getting the alternate ending after getting to fight the Dahaka that hinted at what the 3rd game was going to be about 😉
15 years later after first playing this game, i still struggle to find the ways to complete this game. i cannot believe it. i have completed so many games and figured out things but this game was on another level in terms of pushing your thinking to the limits
feels so nostalgic watching this , i remember playing them on the ps2 when i was about 9-10 , im 20 now and still miss the game it was a masterpiece for its time
it's crazy to think that in kindred blades, the dark prince would be the third timeline prince who is caught in the 5:18:30 moment, but who somehow survives and is trapped in the past and on the island, causing him to somehow become immortal for not being able to get out of there and thus corrupted like the other monsters, thus explaining why he would have gray skin and red eyes in addition to the island's symbol. I like Two Thrones, but we have to admit that Kindred Blades would have been much better, I hope that in remakes of Prince of Persia Hubsoft has this potential too
@@szbek_pl3064 From what I read, this corrupted prince would have become the new leader of the monsters on the island of time, and because he had become immortal, he would have gathered a huge army. This would explain how Babylon was defeated so easily.

I used to play and they used toh give m suggestion and use keyboard during fight later i bought gamepad by which one can single handedly play ... This game is so good, it still holds up perfectly too, its the only PoP game i still run through occasionally, its not only the best PoP game in the series its one of the best action adventure platformers ever made imo, and the story is amazing, they don't make games like this anymore, such an underrated gem.
49:14 This cutscene doesn't appear on two different game discs and two different consoles. Old forum messages describe this problem but don't provide any solution. Does anyone know how to avoid this glitch? Finally, I found the root cause! Please pin my comment, this can save time for many people who face this issue. The first thing you mustn't do is save/load your game before you pass this part of the game. I even didn't save the game the whole time till the cutscene at 49:14. The checkpoint you may verify if you are on the correct way is opening the portal by pressing 4 elements properly. (47:00) In my case, I didn't switch them and the cut scene appeared, and "Eye of the Storm" was gained. Looks like in this the cutscene with Dahaka will not appear. If you can get "Eye of the Storm" without pressing 4 elements, you may restart your game. As I mentioned above (it's not a matter of console or disc. It looks like a game issue).
I just had the same exact issue, but in addition when I loaded my save the prince was turned into a demon with snakes wrapped around his body. For a few minutes I thought that was somehow part of the storyline that I missed. I only have one save so it looks like I need to start again. This time I know not to save/load from part of the game.
Moral of the game : 1) There are always two options, if their's one way closed , then there must be some other way , a little bit difficult but there is the second way. 2) It doesn't matter what others say , you fail or get succeed , there's always a chance in one's hand to change their own fate . Strange. To me this seems so long ago and yet still, i remember being jawstruck by how amazing the game play was in comparison to the games I'd grown up with. To me, games like JetSet Willy, Codename Mat and Penetrator are classics. I'd love to play this again. I'm thinking i may fire up the ps3
Here’s something to think about: A group of suits at Ubisoft got together and wondered what kind of music would go in their new Prince of Persia game. What kind of soundtrack would best fit the newest entry in a series inspired in no small part by the wonder and mystique of 1001 Arabian Nights. Not only did one of them suggest “Godsmack”, but they ended up going with it!
Shame you had to mute the music when Dahaka chases the Prince. I remember how much hate this game endured because of the music and dark theme and I still don't know why. It fits so much the theme of the story and the situation the Prince is. Great game that I still play to this day :)
I just realized that in the first 5mins of gameplay, He drinks the SEA WATER to restore health! lol! We never thought of that when we played that years ago!
No man there is an alternate ending to this game which is unlocked when you have all the life upgrades, it gives you a water sword then you fight against Dahaka instead of Kaileena and in the end you travel back with Kaileena. That's the true ending.
