I really needed this cute, wholesome video cuz I just came from Brian’s video. Although his video today was an uplifting one, I’m just so devastated about his situation. Thank you all for being good friends for Brian I watch like 4 or 5 different herpers and I love the support y'all have shown. I'm praying so hard for him and Lori and their children and grandchildren. My heart just breaks. We have a one call that is set up with the church and when anyone needs prayers or anything that needs prayers we all are get a call and we are told if someone needs them or lots of times we get up dated messages. Then our one call connects to 23 more churches one even out of the country. Sorry about writing a novel but I want everyone that sees NERD comments they will pray with us. You and all of you people are in my prayers to. I love y'all!

The world is a better place with Kevin. I wish his teaching skills would be used across the country. I learn a lot from watching his observation skills.
I'm not a fan of humans but I'm a huge animal lover. I use your strategies on all my lizards plus my snakes as well, my partner still gets tickled when i am like see i built a thread lol. I have learned more from you than probably most anyone in the hobby in my 20 years of keeping, especially on socialization. Thank you for sharing as always and showing us we don't need the magical animal flute, just time patience and a true passion and love for these animals. I love Brian as well and love seeing all the Brian strong support.

If us animal people could teach the people that make it extremely easy to dislike humans how much the world would be if we could all treat all living things the way us animal people love our animals this world wouldn’t be such a sad and scary world 95% of the time. What your doing and teaching is 100% true and only further validates my point of it’s not the animal that becomes vicious it’s the human raising said animal!!! I always find it really awesome to see how these monitor lizards totally just calm right down and can get into a thinking and exploring mode so easily with the right care and attention. Patience is, no doubt, really important. Also, the South Africa trip sounds like it will be great!!
Kevin knows! I watch and learn and have made it my goal to interact with my lizards and snakes on as close to his level as possible. (I pick big goals)

Watching with an 11-year-old rehab male eastern fox squirrel, Willow, in my hoodie pocket :) I love your technique. Of course, as a rehabber, I try to handle the animals as little as possible so they can safely be rereleased, but in the case of those who can never return to the wild, your technique works like a charm.

Absolutely amazing to watch videos like this. I love to see the socialising of the Animals and it has helped me with my own Animals. If Kevin had been at Jurassic Park the Animals would have been calm, socialised and less inclined to eat the visitors.
As an owner if a reptile rescue I hope to be as good as the folks at NERD. We're keeping Brian in our thoughts and he holds a special place in my heart
It would be a dream to have you as a "teacher" when it comes to socializing with animals and how their brains works and why, you are so soft, gentle and loving towards these beautiful creatures and it's absolutely amazing to watch.

This dude knows his stuff, he tames them all up to where you can see they have no fear of humans. He knows how to read them incredibly, little intricacies that many don't understand or even catch but he does.

I LOVE THIS! ❤️ You are by far the best at Socializing animals! I change my color a lot and my Chinese Water Dragon is super cool but of course he puffs up until he realizes I am giving him his food. Chinese Water dragons are amazing because he has never wanted to bite ever. And a bonus is they don't have teeth like iguanas that shred lettuce. I am super proud to have him. Captive breed and he is about 4 years old.
