  • I wanted to add a video camera to my AmScope trinocular microscope but I had no idea of what to do. So I bought a Hayear camera and connected it to my scope. Here's what I found out.
    Here's the stuff I used:
    Camera - amzn.to/3beXUXJ
    Adapter - amzn.to/37o2XnB
The adapter can be purchased directly from AmScope as well.
    Camera Specs: HDMI 1080P @60FPS USB2.0 @ 30FPS

I am in the process of buying an AMScope SM-4TP and could not figure out what camera mounting I needed. This video helped greatly, thank you!

The video is really informative. I have same issue with my stereo microscope and the camera. Thank you, greetings from Hamburg.

I think that gives a much better frame rate than my Amscope supplied USB camera.

Nice video, real good setup for doing close-up work.On a side note,i had not thought of this before now>would the SMOKE from the soldiering gradually degrade the view???I think if so either a fume extractor or cheaper a very small 4" table fan to blow the fumes away from the lens ,maybe?I just cleaned the inside of my car windows, haha that's my reasoning.good vid.

New Subscriber. Just ordered a Hayer camera and your video helped out a lot. I have high hopes of streaming live microscopy. Now that's it been a couple of years, how is the camera holding up? Are you still happy with it? Thanks.

Yes, although it doesn't seem to cover the full field of view. I usually just use USB output. I originally thought I'd use the HDMI.

Hello, I wanted to ask what adapter I need to use to attach my camera to my SM-4TP AmScope. Would appreciate an answer as I ordered a focus ring (0.5X) and now it does not fit either.
    Thank you very much 😀

4:05 1/2.3 sensor is not good. Small and noisy images.

Very informative video. Thanks. Will I be able to run an HDMI cable from the Hayear cam to an iPad with an Apple HDMI-to-lightning adapter or will I need any other adapters?

I've got a pc based HDMI to USB converter which works pretty good but I was also able to use the USB directly to the PC as video in

Awesome video I'm thinking of doing a repair channel myself what software do you use to record the multiple angles for the different cameras like the side view and microscope view any information I would greatly appreciate

    • @RobsFixitShop
      @RobsFixitShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว

I have started using OBS studio which I really like. I use 2 older camcorders (I like the manual zoom) into HDMI to USB converters. You do have to put a time offset on the microphones to get the sound to line up. You can then set up different scenes using each camera or more than one camera at once. Pretty slick

Thanks for the video. What scope model is that and do you get the same field of view with the 0.5x on camera as with the eye pieces?
If possible please let me know.
(Got info I need a 0.35x extension for the camera to get approximately same field of view)

I actually have the same problem as you have. Is it possible to get the same view with 0.35x adapter?

I have used both the USB and the hd mi and they both work. The USB is nice because it just goes straight in.

@@RobsFixitShop Hopefully, good for soldering SMD electronic components. I am also thinking on an LED light. Now, I have seen the Simul-Focus or something like that, keep the focus while adjusting x powers. Will check this one. Thanks.
