River fish will out fight fish from lakes any day the river fish get stronger.I thought l was watching a Richard Gene video seeing you pull in those slab crappie in North Carolina.Good work Jon.
Wearin out the fish, rock climbin, wadin , and snacks it don't get no better. The are talking about shutting down our shop for awhile due the the virus. Now I am just thinking that could be some time spent fish. Keep up the good work "Creek fishing guy" God bless.
Awesome video I really love fishing and I really enjoy watching your videos my plan on hopefully making some fishing videos myself this spring and summer
@@CreekFishingAdventures I absolutely will we got really bad flooding here in Newark Ohio and I and a lot of people need some prayer if not a lot of prayer I also really enjoy watching your videos
Those little Bobby Garland crappie jigs have caught me more nice bass than crappie this late winter/spring. LOL Good pursuit on that striper! I would have been swimmin'.
the dynamic changes of the rivers and the constant movement of the fish gets me hyper than hype! Lake fisherman think i'm crazy for getting excited over 2lb smallmouth, but river fish fight so much harder Great fish on these two videos
I have done well with Crappie, White Bass and Pan Fish with a white Rooster Tail with a white blade. In current situations like this video, I bend the tip of the blade toward the eye (front) of the lure. This promotes a lot of vibration and will allow the blade to turn without the bait moving. Some of my largest White Bass have come off this technique. Good Fishing and God Bless.
I’m watching this while I work from home on my computer you caught soooooooo many fish in this video crappie striped bass and a big one for that matter rock bass large mouth and big ones too good day fishing brother praise the lord I bet you smiled so much that day your face hurt when you got home! 🎣
I use those swimbaits for crappie a lot, they make'em in 2 inch but hard to find, swing impact in 2 inch are great as well, thats my kind of fishing rite there, crappie in the river love it Bro.nice video!!
Looks like Mack did you good! Amazing the bass and crappie in those swiftwater environs...I tend to cipher them as still-water species but things are indeed different in other parts of the world! I plowed the largemouths yesterday (16) and didn't have my action cam! Try again tomorrow with my son. Got some recent pics catches on my FB page. If you ever want to come up to Westminster, MD and catch some giant bluegills let me know.
Well this wild river seems too be yer best catch yet ! All those crappie in " fast water " ? Well now that's different fer sure. Striped bass , Largemouth bass , way to go. Pt.2 was really good . Looking to see SC . videos. Tom Daytona Beach, FL.
Time for some reconsidering on my part....I have never even tried fishing in high water situations like that....time to try since it never seems to stop raining anymore....once slip though and you water sliding down the river...:-)
The water may look high but it is/was a little lower than normal for this time if year . Those trees in the water are cypress trees and live in the water. In the summer of course the level is lower .
Going fishing Saturday with two buds. Hopefully it will be close to this. One question what rig are you using? I have a tough time fishing in current what do you suggest?
Haha. I actually wasn’t planning on releasing this video so soon, oh well it’s already out there.
😊👍
What lure did you use
kietech easy shiner, and bobby Garlands
I thought midnight was a weird time for you to upload.
It’s amazing some of the places you get too, climbing and having the grace to not fall in! Have you considered compiling a bloopers video?

Those are some of the prettiest crappie I've ever seen. Creek fish look so much cleaner then lake fish. 🎥🎣👍

Nice 4 lb bass, striper, and gobs of crappie. When you creek fish what lb test line do you use? When you were river fishing what lb did you use?
small creeks i use 4lb, here i was using 12 lb braid with 8 lb mono leader
What river were you fishing? North Carolina/ or South Carolina.. thanks..
Awesome video
Great video my friend
Is that the Roanoke river?
John, I would love to watch you do some fly fishing.
that was awesome!
What brand is the “easy shiner” u are using?
JODY CROMER it’s keitech “Easy shiner” lure and it has a bunch of different colors
Uuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggggggg, crappie fillets.
Did that jon boat have a long shaft setup? Work pretty good? Thanks
Yes, video on my channel a few months back..
@@MackinNC1 thanks will.check it out
Bobby Garland Baby Shad or something else? Great video brother! You dont have an affiliate link for that Piscifun rod in your description.
yeah baby shad, i put the link in the previous video from here, i forgot to do it here
Going fishing Saturday with two buds. Hopefully it will be close to this. One question what rig are you using? I have a tough time fishing in current what do you suggest?
Awesommmmmme 💥
Could you sorta comment on wearing waders while transitting in a boat - the safety aspect.
I was only wearing boots
So were you just letting the jigs drift with the current?
i was just casting in the calm pockets and let it drift while twitching it
would love to go and fly fish there
Wow
If only Nebraska had that much action..
How do you have any luck when the water is moving that swift? I never seem to be able to catch fish when it is fast muddy water like that.
Do you ever keep any to eat?
not usually
crazy! river looks high, muddy and fast and your slaying them...im confused....
i wouldnt have thought all those fish would be in there
Thanks
Awesome video!
Thanks man
