You have the best gamplays around. Nice and clear and really entertaining as we can clearly hear and see exactly what you are doing, how and why. Keep going!
Ha, that roll. I swear I must roll a one 40% of the time on that action. I'm always getting shot. I usually avoid the spot completely because I'm so scared of it. 😂 Thanks for watching Wayde!
I really loved this series of videos. I skipped the parts you were reading the book to avoid major spoilers, but all the rest was class. Thanks for doing this! :)
hey bro,the military outpost card says to see 448 instead of drawing residents which could have potentially saved you stuff.I wanted to let you know since it could have had such a big effect on the game.
You know, I do that often, but I usually catch it and correct it eventually. I believe I will fix that in the next episode, but I honestly can't remember at the moment. Hopefully. Thanks for catching that and thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching FLOOD! So, you can take back a certain weight worth of findings, based on the characters that are doing the scavenging. In that particular case, all the findings I had were weightless, and each water is 1 weight unit. My character could carry 5 weight, so I brought back all the findings and 5 water. The more characters you send out, the more you can carry back. Thanks again!
I came across the Rat resident cart for my very first encounter. since I never did combat, the card makes a lot of assumtions about what you should know about combat. explain how the backstab works with this card?
Greetings my friend. I too agree your narrative explanations are superb. I have decided to purchase the game. I found a deal that is the base game and stretch goals retail pack. I sleeve all of my cards as well. How many sleeves do you estimate I will need for this game?
Thanks so much. Here is a BGG list that can help with sleeves: boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/164572/card-sleeve-sizes-games?page=237. Just scroll down to This War of Mine. Thanks for watching!
I recycle 95% of inserts so this one is long gone. I also have the first expansion in the box. The tokens are organized in these great containers from the Dollar Tree. Everything else bagged. Pretty snug fit. Thanks Edward!
the sniper card wasn't supposed to be discarded since bruno got shot ? The card says "if at least one character was hit, immediatly remove this card from the game" ???
Sorry, I looked for what you are talking about and I couldn't find it. Can you timestamp it please, because all I see is Marko dodging the snipers. Thanks.
@@TotallyTabled Maybe i'm wrong, i haven't played the game yet, and english is not my mother language. But here what i think you missed: At 0:25 of you video, you have a closeup on the "snipers" card. Saying : "Place this card in the findings pile (if any card is already there, remove that card from the game): At the begining of the Scavening phase , roll the red combat die for each Scavening Character to determine if they were hit and how many wounds they suffered. Characters may use their prowess to re-roll the results". then the important part: "If at least one character was hit, immediately remove this card from the game." At 11:25, you roll the die and Marko (not bruno, my mistake) get shot. So i guess at that moment you should had remove the card from the game. Then at 13:35 you put marko out again, and you roll the die again. Poor marko is under the sniper shooting, but i guess he should had been safe, should't he ? Did i miss something?
@@TotallyTabled My english is not perfect though, i don't understand the verbal tense. Why does it say "if at least one character was hit", and not "if at least one character is hit", or "if at least one character has already been hit".
Your English is amazing! I wish I could speak a second language as well. I think I understand. That first roll at 11:25 was for a different action -- the step outside action. Marko was shot by a different sniper that had nothing to do with the sniper card. That card resolves during the scavenger phase, and luckily Marko barely avoided being shot twice ( which would have killed him). The card only goes away if he had been hit by those snipers, when rolling the red die. It is confusing because it is two different snipers. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for checking out the series!
@@TotallyTabled oooh ok ok i understand. Thank you for taking the time to explain ! Discovering the game with your videos is really enjoyable ^^ My best for your channel !

Thanks Gonferreira! I really appreciate that. It is hard to keep motivated, but comments like yours really help. Have a great day!
Bruh, that roll of 1 killed me XD Poor Marco

I completely missed that. Thanks for pointing that out Vharunesh. When I get a chance I'll go check it out to see what I missed. Thanks for watching!
You forgot raise the fatigue before scavenging. ;) still good playthrough btw

Hey I love this! So I saw you take all your findings back after scavenging but you took 5 water. You can take all your findings back?
Around 30 min mark

@@TotallyTabled that's awesome thanks!
I found out it has a Korean version! I think I should get it.
Wow, that is awesome. I love the game but don't spend money based on my playthrough. I take no responsibility. 😃 Thanks for watching SH!
It was so much fun on the Day 4. 🤣🤣
I think I was sighing heavily after every roll. That was rough. 😂

I know I am late on this, but thanks for playing this. 😁😁
You are right on time! Thanks for checking out the playthrough.
So, if Marko used the Night Owl card to do 3 more actions at night, could he also go out and scavenge or was that a mistake?
Wowser. Nail bitter!
Every game I've ever played of this has been one. The game never relents. Thanks for watching, Steve!

Sleeved cards don't fit in the insert. Did you make your own? I'm thinking if perfect fit sleeves would... I just received my copy of the game.
