Shaggi you make this game look easy.. wow lol. for the record i've never "won" this game, but watching this is making want to pull it out and try again. thanks for that.
Ha, I think I've won once, but that probably just means I cheated somehow. I just try to survive as long as I can. Kinda like Halls of Hegra. Hope you enjoy it if it hits the table!
Oh if I only had a tenth of your luck at this game! I was planning to play it during February but then, the invasion happened and my will to play went down the sink. Watching you play makes me want to give it another try, using a couple of the KS expansions. Would you recommend any in particular to someone who hasn't beaten the base game yet? Also, I love you channel!
I'm the last person who should give advice with this game Colachsso! I'm terrible and have no idea what I'm doing. Things are going well in this playthrough but ... just keep watching. No spoilers. I haven't played with a lot of the expansion stuff and I'm not sure what is KS or promo -- I might not even have all of it. Not sure. I like playing with the base game because I'm not even close to seeing it all. Maybe others have advice? Thanks so much for watching!
Days of the Siege is the second expansion and is a big campaign. So definitely not needed until you're feeling you've seen enough of the base game. Tales from the Ruined City, the first expansion, has a bunch of "modules" that add interesting twists to the base game. One is just a new character, although an interesting one. Desperate Measures adds some cards that give you interesting options to get out of trouble, but they only become available after you lose a character in your group. The Farmers+Markets and Sewers modules add some different elements to the game, which you can probably guess at. And the Incidents modules adds five new scenarios that are shorter and more intense with their own unique twists.
@@TotallyTabled Yes, the fatigue mechanics appear really critical here. Sleeping at night is inefficient so it looks best to build the first bed (for day naps) asap - and can be done on the first day.
26:55 starving people. Where is it written that you can roll the unarmed die to lower the damage? I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm new to the game and I can't find this (useful) rule! Edit: well! It's clearly written in the journa but I totally missed itl! That will make a hell of a lot easier my next play of the game :)))
Ah, good. I'm glad you found it. Yeah, it is very useful to have someone guarding the house with a weapon! Definitely makes life easier. Thanks for watching!
Guilt trip! :) I tried to finish the edit last night but life got in the way. I'm nearly done and will have it out sometime today. Sorry. It will be worth the wait! Thanks for watching this series Paxton!
Days 2 and 3 over and still in a good place. Well done Shaggi. I’m loving this playthrough.
Thanks Jason! It is nice to hear that you are enjoying the series. That does really brighten my day! Let me know how you feel after Day 4. :)

It is nice that the board games fixes that odd design choice in the digital game that limits scavenging parties to only one person.
I agree. It can be hard to send more than one person out, but it is nice when you can. Thanks for watching!

@ 26min22 reading 365 was meant for Boris so Bruno should have read passage 696
I knew immediately when Ana was mentioned 😅🤣
If I am not mistaken you can sleep on the floor to remove fatigue during the day.
After reading I am wrong. May e it’s the bed.
Yep, if you have the bed you can sleep as a day action. Would have been nice to have. Thanks for watching Richard.

@@johnsteidl293 That's not a bad idea at all. Definitely going to try that next time. Thanks for watching John!
I know im a little late but is there a rule for carrying water if your inventory is not full?
Yes, you can carry back any amount of water with each being 1 weight. Thanks for watching!
