The actor playing younger Stan Edgar really nails the mannerisms and energy of Goancarlo's more seasoned version later. Great performance.
Wish that he reprised his role during the animated sequence for episode 7. No offense to Giancarlo’s performance but just trying to keep it authentic.

Soldier Boys was pretty much Homelander with less trauma and more "basic" inclinations. You could keep him happy by having the president shake his hand, giving him medals and letting him hang out with celebrities. Homelander doesn't care about any of that, and so is way harder to control.

And though his word is pretty unreliable, he does feel like the type to retire out of the spotlight if he got to raise a kid.
Yeah like he could replace Homelander in the final season. Imagine if Ashley somehow lives and works for him
It’s because he had a life before being a supe, so his desires were shaped by his contact with society. Homelander never had that life, so his desires are less concretely formed, more nebulous and abstract.
He’s basically a riff of John Wayne.

I think all shows have super strength to a point. Some we don’t see use it because it is so weak compared to their other abilities.

The casting for every Boy's character is top notch.
The girl who played Grace does looks like the younger version of current Mallory Grace.
Mallory was such a badass here. They really did her dirty this season.

Mindstorm is overpowered as hell, he can give you a never ending nightmare, he can manipulate minds like he did with the priest and nun. And he could read mind.(Which made him insane, because he probably couldn't control it.

Damn, I can't believe they killed Mallory. This scene and the ending of Season 3 where she watched him get put away gave me a feeling that they would have a lot of interaction in the next season (especially since Soldier Boy seemed to be fond of her and he likes grannies).

I had always planned on watching this show but as soon as I saw soldier boy was on here it was a done deal. Coldest character period.
I just realised Young Mallory started eavesdropping on Stan Edgar and Noir just after Stan told Noir about their plan to capture Soldier Boy and about a new Supe (Homelander) who they believe would be stronger than Soldier Boy and can even fly. You can see it in the scene where Noir along with his imaginary friends were watching his past memories, It was just before Mallory snuck in.

I just realised but when she says that he's gonna blow up half the camp, it's actually because gunpowder doesn't know how to close the launcher exhaust. Saw this scene 10 times and it never made sense when the ammo's dump is like 1 meter away from soldier boy that he could miss his shot.

Supes could have been very useful with the Contras. She didn't even try to make use of them.
