Because, Soldier Boy thinks his actions to his team were not very serious even though he had constantly been abusing his teammates so much. It's a way that abusers normally think that they have done nothing wrong to their victims so in that way he expects his team to be faithful, loyal and trustworthy to their leaders but he neglects their sufferings of what he had done to them even though that's the reality. This is why Soldier Boy remains so shocked that countess or the rest of the teammates betrayed him. He has the slight narcissistic personality of Homelander where deep inside he doesn't like anyone taking his spotlight, anyone stronger or more powerful than him getting a 2nd place. That explains why he had been constantly beating Black Noir mostly out of all because he was the 2nd and more prone to taking his spot as a leader. This also makes sense why Homelander is so far narcissistic than Soldier Boy in case taking spotlights.
TBF, the Noir recollections aren't accurate at all because they excessively portray the abuser side of soldier boy but completely miss the fact that the rest of payback was just as bad. Mindstorm was definitely mentally unwell and relies heavily on mind controlled proxies to do his work and doesn't care what happens to them The twins went on a path to debauchery that was noticeable even before Payback disbanded Noir despite having felt the trauma of being bludgeoned by a superior Supe and being helpless STILL DID IT to countlessly people by deciding to stay with Vought and would go on murder sprees without much thought because Stan or later Homelander told him to do so. Every single one of them was rotten, it's just that Soldier Boy was capable of abusing them and also "keeping them in line" by force trauma stopping any stupid proposition, being abused despite being powerful, that they did not like, because they couldn't abuse Soldier Boy back, no one could. The only one who agreed with SB was Gunpowder so they mind-controlled him to not know that he helped supress him. So they eliminated Soldier Boy out of the equation. But because they are all pretty bad at foresight, they also failed to realize that there was always a chance SB could have survived or they could have been eliminated out later on too by higher interests just like Stan and Vought decided to agree to disappear SB. So not a single one of them prepped, not even the NotBatman that is Noir. They are all bad product.

But first I think we should get to learn how it does it in the first place. How does soldier boys chest explosion remove the compound v from a supes body?
"You're teaming up with a murderer." He's been doing that since he teamed up with Butcher. And also became a murderer himself. And, oh, by the way, mind explaining how that's different from you?

"you are teaming up with a murderer" as much as I love this show and it is in my top 5 of all time the more I analize the more shitty writing I can find (regarding season 3) in fact they are ALL murderers especially butcher
As much as I love this show, can someone please explain Annie to me. First, she's on board with having a weapon to kill Homelander, then she's willing to team up with A-train (the guy who killed Hughie's girlfriend), then she's against teaming up with Soldier Boy who is also murderer (while still dating Hughie who is also a murderer), then she has a go at Hughie for taking Temp V, then she goes to help Kimiko take Permeant Compound V. Make up your mind Annie! With all that said I really hope Soldier Boy shows up in season 4 because he was clearly the best part season 3. there are obviously more reasons to like this show but I say mainly watch season 3 for Soldier Boy.
I think the problem is that soldier boy killed innocents in Russia, when it was an accident and he didn't mean to but she doesn't know that. Also i think the point about temp v still being in testing is valid, especially since she was right
I don't know if you're just really stupid or if you just hate women but the amount of mental gymnastics you're trying to do to make Annie the bad guy is unsettling.
she was poorly written this season but unfortunately the writers themselves have defended Annie in this so she's probably going to stay terrible for the foreseeable future
When you realize what Soldier Boy has done through Black Noir's flashbacks then you know that they did the right thing since all of them were mentally and physically abused by Soldier Boy. Billy only needs him to kill Homelander, and Billy will do anything for that to happen.
He somehow could but he just couldn't kill him, they had go gang up on him like 5 people in order to take him down, and then again he didn't even die, truly shows how powerful he is, the reason he's more dangerous than homelander is because he can take out the compound v of heroes and make them humans, that's even more terrifying than homelander's laser eyes.
I feel like the refrain of the phrase "I am so, so sorry" in this show was so clever and purposeful. Even if the character deserved the fate they landed in it shows the impersonal nature of desperation when confronted with guilt and danger. The boys was tastefully campy in all the right ways.
Abusers dont think their abuse is "that bad". They don't see it as anything serious and thus don't think the victim has any reason to be upset about it.
@@wolfrex2721 It was bad enough that they jumped him and handed him over to the Russians. Even if they rescued him(and no way in Hell would any of them but Gunpowder do that) the revenge /violence would only be worse. This just proves that Soldier Boy had psychological issues even without the ptsd if he's this delusional.
Only now just realised, at least I think so, that the line "I am doing this for you" is him openly lying to himself. He isn't doing it for HER per say, he is doing it for himself, so he doesn't have to go through the experience of losing a loved one again. It's bittersweet.
The only thing ruining the immersion here is that butcher at 2:00 is clearly carrying a prop and not the real person. They didnt even try to hide it for some reason.
Soldier Boy gives the same aura here as Homelander when A-Train betrayed him lmao. They literally treat their team like shit then wonder why they hated them 😂
I love how she dropped the pity act and just said f*ck all with the BS lol... If you're going to go, you might as well get the truths out there on the table with no questions left behind.😅😅
I believe soldier boy did the best...all those years he suffered in Russia hoping that his friends would come to save him not knowing that they have already sold him out....
What I don't understand is why the first thing she says to him is _"I am so so sorry, it wasn't my idea"_ when she immediately after that is brave enough to tell him in his face that they weren't paid to betray him and that she did not love him but hated him as anyone else in their team. I mean, she's defiant enough to tell Soldier Boy the truth and face her death, why did they make her say "I am so sorry" when it's clear that she was never sorry of sending him to the Russians?
It’s funny that she says he’s teaming up with a murderer, but what does that make her, teaming up with murderers and a company that has so much murder on the belt and hell the boys are murderers as well even her boyfriend… how’s that for a hypocritical claim?
It's funny how Starlight and MM prepare to fight soldier boy as if they are gonna beat him 😂. He is gonna rip them in half, if it wasn't for hughie and Butcher stepping in between.
@stepbro7876 Dude, why don't you just calm down? It's just an observation. If you feel it's cringe, why don't you just dislike or ignore the comment instead of whining about it.
The ironic thing with all this hunting down and killing his old team, Soldier Boy ends up doing more good than he ever did before. 1:33 The face when she realizes that all that torture gave him a new power and she is now screwed. Mindstorm was definitely mentally unwell and relies heavily on mind controlled proxies to do his work and doesn't care what happens to them
The twins went on a path to debauchery that was noticeable even before Payback disbanded
Noir despite having felt the trauma of being bludgeoned by a superior Supe and being helpless STILL DID IT to countlessly people by deciding to stay with Vought and would go on murder sprees without much thought because Stan or later Homelander told him to do so.

She killed American troops to cover up what payback was doing and got him tortured for years on end to the point he developed ptsd. While he was a bully, I don't think his actions justified what she did. If he was just kept asleep the whole time it would be a different story imo

Seems like she couldve said something like “cause you were a monster” to get the last laugh

When you realize what Soldier Boy has done through Black Noir's flashbacks then you know that they did the right thing since all of them were mentally and physically abused by Soldier Boy. Billy only needs him to kill Homelander, and Billy will do anything for that to happen.
That's absurd. One guy has a hallucination and you are saying that means another guy was the bad guy.

Funny how Starlight lights up her powers, when she saw SB, when even Homelander wasn't able to take him down.
Please bring him back in season 4
I like how Mother's Milk's top half isn't charred to a crisp despite butcher holding it towards a nuclear blast
Gotta say, I don't know which is worse. Being betrayed for something or someone else, or being betrayed because the person never felt the same way.
I feel like the refrain of the phrase "I am so, so sorry" in this show was so clever and purposeful. Even if the character deserved the fate they landed in it shows the impersonal nature of desperation when confronted with guilt and danger. The boys was tastefully campy in all the right ways.
From what we've seen of the flashbacks and Noire's memories, why would he think that any of them would rescue him?
This. Did he traumatize so much from the torture he forgot how he got captured or what? The show never gave us any explanation
CC attacked from behind. Soldier Boy never saw her.
