I say it every time you post but this is the best - THE BEST - sound design/production channel anywhere on the internet. You're incredible. EDIT: I know I've learnt from you because before you mention the fact that the synth stab sounded dry I already had the same thought and wondered how you'd get around it. Quality.

@@ivanponomarev2196 well, in some ways yes, I would say that. I think the most important thing for starters is getting familiar with basic musical concepts and understanding how a DAW works. Hardware is really not important at all.

Yalcin, in the videos you compress inf:1, do you just do this to let us hear it or do you lower compression ratio in your songs?
I always use with inf:1 if it is for sidechaining purposes. It gives the maximum dynamic range for side chain.
