    bro took the hardest song out of an already complex genre that didn't really exist before Chris did it. and lest I forget: you freaking nailed it. you are one very sick individual and I'm in awe

    From a huge admirer of Loffler's sound for quite some time and someone who's been trying to do something within the same spectrum, I have to say you absolutely nailed it! I truly can't understand why and how I've only found this now

    Booked a 1 to 1 session with Gavin. Best money I have spent on improving my production since I started over 10 years ago. Highly recommend for anyone struggling to get better. If you think the guy is showing talent in these videos wait until you see him working live at one hundred miles an hour!

    Hey Gavin, thanks for sharing your knowledge and techniques. So much great content here. There's always something new to learn from every single video. Huge fan of your original music too. I would really love to see your take on music from Jon Hopkins. Rival Consoles or Tourist would be great also. I'm happy to see your channel growing. Can't wait for all the new stuff. Wish you all the best. Much love and again thank you for your great work.

    In Love with your channel mate! Thanks for the great work! IMO the music could be louder compared to your voice, to really hear the details of the grain delays etc. without cranking up the volume and dialing it back again :)

    Are the samples that you can purchase already bounced with the processing on them you did here? Or would one need the plug ins you have to process them the same way?
    Thanks for all you do… your tutorials are stellar

    why did you sidechain the clap to the kick?it only plays while the kick is playing anyways and just makes the whole thing quieter no?

    • @darshanajjamada
      @darshanajjamada ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Most people sidehcain the clap to the kick to allow the transient of the kick to come through the mix a bit more. Most of the times, especially when multiple layers of claps are there, the kick tends to get lost underneath them and kinda sounds muffled. Yes, it does reduce volume, but a little amount of sidehchain ducks the clap just enough to allow the kick to cut through, without taking off much of the clap/ claps. Dialling in some make up gain can help get back the volume lost and also ensure a nice kick.
