The M12 stuff is excellent. I have the Gen 2 M12 Fuel kit and even that stuff rips. I also picked up the DeWalt 12V Xtreme kit and it's excellent as well, and Lowe's has the 4-piece kit for $199 right now, and they throw in a free $179 Xtreme Brushless 3/8 Ratchet or 400 ft lb mini 1/2-inch impact wrench with it. One of the very best tool deals on the internet right now.

That sounds like an amazing deal! I think that with todays technology you can't go wrong with any of the big brands. I personally don't like having multiple different platforms due to battery cost, so I'm pretty stuck on Milwaukee. There was a time when all I ran was the OG, dark green, Ryobi drills back in 2007 when I worked construction. I might have to find one to do a comparison lol.

I have an old Makita 18v impact driver that works great still. What I don’t like about it is that it will spin up fast which makes it tough to light work with doors and such. I picked one of these up last week and it is great. I will say I am not a fan of how hard it is to remove Milwaukee batteries from their tools or chargers as compared to Makita.

I have yet to really test out them yet, but it seems to be better than my old Makita XTD13 and I like the light weight of the tool too! I use mine for building decks, metal roofs, installing plywood flooring, etc, etc..
I can’t wait to go the full 9 miles with it, I misused my old gen 2 impact and I lost the ball detent and couldn’t find a replacement so I had to hop on this deal because 176$ for 3 batteries, drill (without that electronic chuck of the old gen 2 drill) and impact

After using it in the shop for a week I will say this... The Bosch is still the most comfortable 12V Impact I have used, completely a preference thing for my hands.
