Sorry, something went wrong with parts of the audio and I had to quickly reupload. Also, the 1-handed variation uses the stat distribution at 3:57 because the right sword only scales to int (if you want to run this sword 1-handed and use a shield for example).
Can you do a star lined katana build?
-you can get this weapon early.
-you have to kill rellena.
Fuck
I honestly enjoyed her fight , she's an absolute beast but im gonna be real she doesn't hold a candle to the later more difficult bosses
I tried with my 2nd character and you can get to Shadowrelm blessing 14 without killing a single boss. That makes Rellana and the early bosses like Divine Beast waay easier
High lvl Brass Shield + Barricade Shield ash of war. Use it to tank her twin moons spell if you can't time it well enough to jump over it. But be sure to be almost full hp because the third pulse of that attack will shear off alot of your hp even blocking. With Barricade Shield stamina will not be an issue during that attack.
It's not that hard, everyone been complaining about the boss difficulty but if you get scadutree fragments and have a build that makes sense, all the bosses can be beaten, that's how I beat them.
@@coldven0m yes, because the game isn't balanced around you playing it and actually outskilling the boss - instead you're supposed to get an overpowered build and two-shot them. Oh, how fun! ER is such a disgrace to Souls games...
Came for the armored core, stayed for the Chrightt
AC6 DLC plz. I so wanna cover that.
@@Chrighttmost likely they will just make a sequel within gen 6 like they have done for the other games. (I think anyway)
@@puffballbk2186 FS allegedly has 3 games in production currently. I am almost sure one of them is an AC.
No one played armored mid sadly
@@Chrightt This! We need AC6 DLC!
I swear I saw every available Rellana’s twinblades builds video out there ATM, none of them reached this level of Quality(its a quality build pun intended). Simple, straightforward but with logic and data behind it. The wait well worth it. Im gonna go meet Renalla today 😂❤
Chrightt videos are so good but obviously take time. So many other TH-camrs have "best this or that of the DLC" and like.... how could they possibly know that in a week. And in what context lol. Group of enemies? bosses? No way they tested all that
yeah this dude is the only person i trust/watch when it comes to equipment stats for ER. he's goated
Rellana*
@@kylekilgore291 I need to respec so I did mean Renalla right 🤭
I gave up on Rellana's twinblade. Switched to beast claws and never looked back.
I like how you called it "A Larger Cousin of the Sword of night and Flame" because i totally see these weapons being in the same family house.
They are in the same family house. SONAF and Rellana's paired swords both originate from carian manor. SONAF is back when carians were astrologers and lived alongside the giants (thus the flame is giantsflame) and way before marika (which is also why it has a comet azur being closer to the primordial current) and rellana's swords are after marika's invasion of the giants and carians moving to Liurnia, with rellana (who is a carian princess and the sister of Renalla which is why the magic bit is the color of carian sorcery) herself being able to use messmer's flame due to her close association with Messmer, placing the origins of the swords quite squarely after marika invaded the giants.
They are weapons of the Carian Royal family
@@theformation3781damn the lore lmfal
Lore wise sword of night and flame it's still stronger because it's able to use both magic and faith with a single sword while Rellana need two
Well see, heres the fun part
Friendship ended with Night and Flame, now Rellana's Twin Blades is my new best friend
Facts this sword is the son of sword of night and flame and moonveil
Keeping N&F equipped would a decent idea, give you more spells to cast, lol.
Get enough stamina to carry both 😎
Real
Thank you for keeping everything without spoilers, I like to watch these videos about things I found but I don't wanna get spoiled about things I haven't found yet.
You're going to get spoiled if you keep doing that. It's inevitable on TH-cam
Miqeulla was controlling Mogh the whole time and uses his body to recreat Radhan as the final boss of the DLC
@@johnherrera5261 Haha nice try bro that doesn't happen lmao
@ghoulbuster1 it literally does though you can even see Moghs hirn sticking out of Radhans new body on the forearms
Your videos are seriously the GOAT of ER videos. Thank you for always being as thorough, researched, and non clickbait-y as possible.
I appreciate you so much for actually doing the work and math so we can make our builds the best they can be. Good stuff.
Glad to help!
I was cooking up a Rellana's Twin Blades build, and your analysis is super helpful. I'm really excited to get it online.
Thank you for this! I just got the twin blades a few hours ago and was hoping to see a video by you around how to build it. Awesome video as always!
Just want to say I love these optimized build videos. I tried out your night sorcery build back in the day, and it was epic! I'm looking forward to more DLC builds!
Thankyou for your in-depth research into the stats and what they actually do. It's super helpful :3
One more thing to take into account, after two handed jumping/rolling attacks, the following r1 attack is actually the last attack in the chain, which means it will do about 50% more damage with the twinblade talisman!
Thanks for this! Had no idea
Really ? It has 3 hit after
You can equip the milady light greatsword in your off hand while still retaining the full ash of war of rellana's twin blades and the light greatsword moveset. Infuse the milady with bleed or frostbite to add some status to this build to take it to the next level.
Having Milady offhand would apply additional status effect while wielding twin blades?
I was literally thinking of trying this later! Could be good way to increase damage
@@chillax319 it works as an off hand so you won't dual stance them, but yes as an offhand it does work but lightgreatswords in general sort of suck
@@yulfine1688 Maybe but I really like the movesets of lightgreatswords.
@@chillax319 yeah i enjoy them.. but they need a big bump.. they're pretty much useless..
it's really heartening to see that i ended up more or less replicating the broad strokes of this build when i tried to construct one myself (except i got more stats to work with due to being in ng+ at lv235).
I've been running the build as described and it's a lot of fun, very strong but flexible. Thank you for the detailed explanation!
Glad you enjoy it!
Great breakdown. Feels like I always learn something useful from your videos that helps me when tinkering with my own builds, even when I'm not directly interested in the weapon you're showcasing. Looking forward to your future videos on the DLC items.
Great video! Thank you so much as well for not giving any spoilers. Some people have full spoilers in the titles and thumbnails
From my own testing, it seemed that the mainhand sword did only phys+magic damage, while the offhand only did phys+fire, similar to the Dancer's swords from DS3, thus making the faith+intelligence investment much worse than its high listed AR would lead one to believe. Still the best way to utilize the two skills, but substantially weaker for the regular moveset. Quality does seem to be the ideal way to build around these swords unless you plan on playing L2den Ring.
"L2den Ring" LMAOOO good one!
R1den or L2den? 🤔
My brother is playing L2den ring with the blasphemous blade, and is surprised when the bosses are easy
what do you mean by quality? are you saying it is still better to build it for str dex instead of faith int if you want to maximize the damage of the regular sword attacks?
Doesn't Faith also encrease physical damage?
Man, this is the video I was looking for. Thanks!!
Thank you for coming back when we needed you the most
I'm very excited for this build!
My favorite Elden Ring content is back and I couldn’t be happier
Missed you @Chrightt
Awesome build again Chrightt!
this was great, need more of these videos for other weapons!!
Very good explanation, i was looking forward for this video for my int/faith caster build
thank you i was waiting for someone to make this exact video
same!
Didn't expect to see you here Jamie xD
Love your vids
Chrig keep ‘‘em coming 😊
God bless you sir. Just got these badboys last night and was scratching my head trying to figure out an optimal build path.
Chrightt I love you. I really needed this
Thank you for this build, been trying out the twinblades as an INT pure focusing on the moonlight weapon art and the build was not performing as hoped. This is just what I needed!
It’s good to have you back in the swing of things. Thanks for all your hard work
I’m not sure if I will do a build with them. But you’re hands down the best at breaking down complex weapons. Int/faith as a combo comes with many perks.
I absolutely adore your content on Elden ring and I also got a lot of useful information when I played Armored Core!
Glad to hear it!
Very good build. Very good information. You are the best
I really apreciate this video for not spoiling the DLC bosses.
And i will try that build for sure, i really liked these twin blades
Very good video. Great job man.
By FAR the best build video I’ve see!
Fantastic explanation, Thank you
Hell yes! Love this boss and the weapons!
Finally beat her today, excited to use this build!
Don’t forget: The *Spellblade Armor set* will buff the *Moon and Fire Stance’s Light input!*
Just make sure you have *25 Endurance* if you wear the set since you’ll be able to *Light-Roll* with it (Without any off-hand weapons)
Oh. I need to check it out after work.
Don't forget potential Talisman weight
Very cool. Cheers mate.
I love the Light Greatsword move-set, but it's so hard to give up my dual twinblades. Maybe next play-through.
Thanks for the video!
I had a feeling that those day 1 build vids cashing in on the hype of new weapons were only seeing one side of the equation. Professor Chrightt has taught us well ❤
Was waiting for this
Awesome build!! Thank you so much, Im gonna have so much fun with the coolest weapon in the game imo :)))
These swords are probably my favorite weapon that I'll never personally use, but after this video I kinda want to experiment with it now. Great vid as always, Crightt
Good to have you back. I hope you have now a lot of free time to create vids and give us your superb insights. I am INT cast only and currently running through the DLC with good old Night Comet / Night Shard and 2x Staff of Loss without any problems. I am very curious to see how these strongest sorceries compare with the new sorceries, especially the Finger ones. Take your time for your quality content.
Thanks for another great build! Will try this 🎉🎉 I just recently got the Ancient Meteorite Ore Greatsword, would love to see you optimize a build for that one 😊
I needed this
the swaddling cloth heavy tip is actually huge man, great find
Im still going through the dlc and love this weapon. Glad i can get some info on it
Great video
I think I will be using the Thorny Cracked Tear in the physick for more successive attack damage
I hope you make a video covering smithscript weapons soon since they seem more mechanically complex than most smithing stone weapons. Great video as usual!
definitely sending this to my friend that loves the rellana stuff.
Very nice video, when I saw the 4 way c scaling at +10 on the swords I was scared, but I had a feeling it wasn't a bad as it looked, and I heard from another youtuber that the staff of the great beyond isn't very good so I'd love to see a video from you seeing if you can push it to perform
Loved the video, looks like a really well optimized version of Rellana's Twin Blades!
Will you do a video on the putrescence Cleaver?
im sooo happy that you of all people were covering this, very well done
Will there be a guide on the smithscript weapons? I really wanna make throw blades good, but hard to ;-;
Ty for the off hand weapon passive tip! I forgot about that
THANK YOU!
As long as these vids are spoiler free, Ill keep watching ; )
Love the video! Can you cover the new deflecting tear drop?
I’d love to see a video on optimizing the dryleaf arts/dane’s foot work next!
thank you for this video. normally split dmg and scaling weapons only become really decent in ng +2( lvl 300+) but this helps me. lots of really cool magic weapons in this dlc. sadly not really that many cool spells tho there are some bangers.
Thanks so much for coming back man. Any recommendations for a build using the new finger weapon? (Trying not to spoil anything)
A lot of respect for you my man for not showing spoilers unlike other idiots
I look forward to trying this out 🔥🔥 (I just finished millicent's quest on regular new game and got the rotten winged sword insignia so I don't have millicent's prosthesis 😭😭)
It worth to wait for Chright's number-based breakdowns. You're a savior dude. Can never know when it comes to FromS. Does that holy eruption scale with faith? Nope, it scales with weapon AR, which means it scales with Dex, many such cases.
The King is back!
This is very cool. I was running the high str/dex variant, was thinking i might try swapping the stats a bit. Think will initially try a balanced like 35-40 in str/dex/fth/int.
DLC is kicking my ass and the way this weapon loves the extra stats is motivating me to just keep levelling till 200 (186 atm).
Thanks for the video, Chrightt!
Will/can you do one on Spear of the Impaler and Messmer’s Orb?
I have no idea when it'll happen, but I'm looking forward to the dueling shield breakdown. It's my new favorite weapon type in the game.
I’ve never been a fan of thrusting, straight or greatswords and the moment I tried this out…I fell in love with them, I just wish it did frost damage rather than just magic.
Whoooooo! New upload!
Thanks for another great video. Don't know how I'm going to incorporate this info into my character at 99 in all stats lol
great content, I love that you included multiple talismans and off hand weapons. Do you have any plans to make a similar video for the dryleaf arts?
Yes, I will be covering other weapons as well.
I think the interesting thing about these swords is that you make them work with a bunch of different stat spreads depending on what you going for with respect to spells and talismans. They can even just be a secondary weapon that covers the weaknesses of another.
Pretty good video man, could you make a build for the hand to hand weapons? I'm realy struggling to decide what's the best infusion and build for it.
Yep, I'll cover the new weapons!
Nice video man. I'd appreciate one for the martial arts, everybody is complaining about it's damage output
You absolutely sweet sweet man doing Marika’s work for the poor Tarnished! Bless you.
im looking forward to optimized prefumer build with the new class!
The single handed option is also nice while using this sword with a shield to get access to parry
The right sword scales dmg only with int and the left sword with faith.
So if you 1H the weapon, it's better to have more int.
I'm really enjoying these options coming from a the Dark Moonlight that is similarly flexible
😔 Sorry about that. I went with the paired stance so I forgot about covering the 1h version. (use the int-only alternative variation). I added a note to my pinned message.
your english has gotten better since your elden ring videos 2 years ago, it was never bad, but it sounds a lot more natural now! hope this doesn't come off as rude
Thanks
Thanks for the video! The swords give you a lot of options for building them huh. I'm personally interested in the scriptsmith weapons which may or may not be similar? Im not sure how exactly they scale, and I dont know how/have the time to test them on my own
Cold Milady in the right hand and use Rellana in the left hand. It is super fun. The Milady stance is also ridiculously powerful. The R1 procs frost so fast. The R2 jumps over many attacks. You then use L1 to reset the Frost proc to then apply frost again.
I shredded the dancing lion.
Definitely my favorite weapon from the DLC. I run it on a dex/int build and still get ample damage. Weapon art magic wave is nearly on par with the Moonlight, and the fire attack though weaker since my faith is only high enough to wield this is a good "get off me" button since it staggers.
I combine this with a milady on my main hand so I can switch between the milady stance weapon art for a pure physical attack, and then two handing this to get the magic/fire weapon art.
thanks bro
Amazing video as always Chrightt. As soon as I saw this in the trailer, I new int/fth was gonna be my first DLC build and that I was probably gonna go from using your SONAF battlemage build to this one. What is your favorite build in the DLC so far?
I'm really looking forward to you looking at the scriptsmith weapons, they having scaling in four stats is a nightmare for the optimizer in me.
The right sword does the magic damage while the left does the fire. I tried putting a magic milady in my left hand, and it was interesting. Might even be viable on int builds
I know it's not super optimal, but this imo the nest weapon for the twinblade talisman. This is because the first heavy attack chains into the final light attack. It gets 6 hits in extremely quickly and when its done twice in a row, it does more damage than a full light attack chain.
Thanks for the build! Definitely going to try this out! Btw, are there any other weapons that would work well with this stat distribution? I understand that it's optimized for Rellana's Swords, but just curious since I like having options and I'm low on Larval Tears. Thanks!
What a great guide. Thank you.
But what should I do at higher levels? Should I continue upgrading my int and fth or should I switch to str or dex at some point? And when should I stop leveling int/fth?
Rather than int-faith build with milicent prosthesis and rotten wing sword you can also go the opposite route, run a quality build with shard of alexander and rellana cameo. You can get around 2k damage from the ash of war and the build is also much more flexible.
I would love to see your analysis of the Death Knight weapons. People are arguing online about their ashes scaling with dex, even though your videos on ashes would have them scaling with faith.
Great video. Wondering if you know which stat the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword's Ash of War (White Light Charge) scales off? As levels in Str and Arc seem to raise damage very similarly - both miniscule despite large AR increases
thx for the update. Do you have a plan to explain statistics on Milady in the future? Cheers~
Yes, I am going to break down all the weapon classes which includes light greatswords!
