Gran Turismo is going to end up with the opposite result they wanted with this penalty situation, people are going to start competing for how big of a penalty they can end up with and Gran Turismo will wind up worse than Forza.

It is good that it shows who has penalty, but i hate that it is BLINKING..
Why is it blinking?! And the refuel text is STILL in the middle of the line of sight. GT Sport will soon be a text-based race sim.

When I heard they were making the penalties visible I presumed they would put the message next to the player names on the left.
A red "P" next to the player's name would have been sufficient, but the flashing Penalty gets hilarious when everyone in the race has one. Be thankful that the refuel text isn't flashing. I know. Don't give them ideas.
I don't actually mind that flashing penalty, but the refuel text sends me into a rage. Why hasn't it been moved yet!?

Justin Wilkinson yeah to be honest it feels like football more and more non contact sport i swear i got a penalty without touching someone the other day!
The first race was ridiculous. He was about 28sec behind the lead in the end after being hit with at least 20sec of penalty. He would have been much further up the pack otherwise

Really cracked me up.
That was a really clever video. First showing the difficulties in the first race, then showing how to improve in the second race. Very cool to watch. The big flashing penalty sign is a good idea, but it should just be a small non-flashing number, showing the penalty time instead.
that first race is literally what every race of mine is like, you try your hardest and then just one little nudge from someone at the worst time and the penalties just pile up.
Love the Red Bull reference, what a frustrating gp to watch. Alonso driving his 2 tire McLaren was a highlight for me along with Perez getting the sneaky podium after a front wing change.
So many things happened it was hard to keep track!

Hey Super Gt you just made my day with this video! I had a horrible couple days of racing on GT Sport. I went from an A/S to a B/C in one race due to a brake checking, non ghosting, penalty serving Brasilian. (I think he was nervous). By the time I collected myself the damage to my DR/SR was done. While I was watching your video I was busting up laughing at your commentary! So, THANK YOU! BTW, I raced Dragon Trail gardens last night with my degraded DR/SR, and found that I could not avoid a penalty in 5 races. I even made a stringent effort to avoid other drivers. Some of these drivers are like a plague! LOl. Cheers m8, and keep up the good work!

Penalties gets more strict the higher the DR, that's the reason you got a penalty even after a sneeze on race 1 (you were DR: A) and it was more lenient on race 2 (where your DR was B)
the flashing penalty thing is a bit distracting, its useful but they could have made it more subtle

Steve is the man. Hands down. Period. He should have his own race car show on bbc or FOX 5. This mans perfect in every way when he races.. from throttle response, brake points, respecting other drivers and more!! He makes it look so easy. I get on my $3,000 set up, (thrustmaster T300, a Amazon rig and my old sparco seat from my 2004 WRX only to realize I suck!! Cheers Steve!

Hey dude, can u help explain break tention and oversteering. What ís oversteer and what does brake tension mean? The down on the dpad changes it to brake tension, why would I change that and what is oversteering compared to the numbers on that meter? Thanks

Lol this got recommended after the GP and the first lap precisely the Ver/Ham incident happend and you can see now why Ver wouldn’t have backed off that corner
i lost my sr down to b and about 20% of my points in that race at monza ran it maybe 3 times and it got worse and worse. then yesterday i think the gt3 supra at sukuka with the grid start, i was 6th didn't touch anyone, in fact knew there would be a mess at the first turn so avoided touching anyone came out in 3rd, didn't go off track but had 9 seconds in penalties. then getting bumped or sideswiped by quite a few drivers that don't seem to care about how they pass you. i'm feeling the pain
