Could you explain the last part of your video where you said your body previously felt disconnected? I went through this same thing with a coach, had me correct my takeaway to outside then I always felt disconnected and unnatural on the downswing, was hitting weak high pushes for over a year with irons as I could absolutely not close the face and get my hands ahead of the ball anymore even with a strong grip. My coach had no interest in helping me with it and just had me do completely unrelated drills for other minor less impactful problems. Made me despise the game, I ended up dropping him of course, went back my old takeaway and striking improved, handicap dropped back down, but part of me still always wants to know what I was missing.
You will definitely feel the difference if you do it right. Yes, I did the same thing, you have to stay connected in order for it to work. Try to stay connected as much as possible and keep the club vertical on your takeaway, but make sure your head is slightly inclined to the right not left on your setup (that feeling of looking to the right at address) otherwise your head it’s going to restrict you turn and outside takeaway, it’s all about having the right angles on your setup
