    ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS & ADDITIONAL INFO:
    Q: How come you don’t get fat?
    A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
    Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
    A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

    Your definition of rye bread is spot on: "stale on purpose"!

    • @norandomnumbers
      @norandomnumbers 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      There's not a single slice of rye bread there. Rye bread is made from rye. It's dark brown and hard. Most american "rye" is just regular old white wheat bread with a negligible amount of rye flour mixed in.

    • @ItsMeTrist
      @ItsMeTrist 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@norandomnumbers Tbh, we have somewhat light brown/light rye toast here in finland that's made with 100% rye. The traditional ryebread is what you described and what i enjoy most. I do think that the ryebread here is also just a mix.

    • @norandomnumbers
      @norandomnumbers 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ItsMeTrist It's a bit misleading advertising when some bread packages do advertise "täysjyväruis" or something like that, like Vaasan Ruispalat. But if you read the ingredients list, it also lists wheat flour. But there's also plenty of full rye breads on the market, my favorite is Oululaisen Jälkiuuni, which also advertises itself as "täysjyväruis", but it also is only rye, no other grains.

    • @ItsMeTrist
      @ItsMeTrist 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@norandomnumbers With the exception of taikaruis which i just read yesterday as i was watching the vid, contains wheat gluten, but 100% of the grains used were rye.
      However yeah, i prefer Jälkiuuni myself as well or some ryebread from the local bakeries.

    • @jimjambananaslam3596
      @jimjambananaslam3596 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@norandomnumbers It's safe to say that Europeans were mixing rye and wheat flour before they introduced wheat to North America, so you can't really make the argument that pure rye bread is more traditional. The light rye used in pastrami sandwiches is usually sourdough and it's specifically a Jewish-American New York deli thing, it's actually a fairly sophisticated bread and not just like Wonderbread with some rye grain mixed in.

    Russian dressing is different from Thousand Island dressing. Russian dressing includes horseradish and chili pepper which makes it spicy, while Thousand Island includes sweet pickle relish which makes it sweet. It's also called Russian dressing because the original recipe included caviar.

    Russian and Thousand Island are ketchup- and mayonnaise-based dressings, with notable differences. The key distinction between the two spreads lies in their flavor profiles. Russian dressing features horseradish and chili pepper, making it spicy. Sweet pickle relish is a key ingredient in Thousand Island dressing, which makes it sweet.

      I mean, that is sort of what you are supposed to do. The pickles clean your palate due to the vinegar. This food is super salty, and after a while you stop being able to taste the meat. The pickles and the coleslaw help to keep the meat tasting flavorful after the sheer amount of salt you are ingesting.

    A friend and I, every Sunday, would go, each having a complimentary bowl of popcorn, this sandwich, a "schooner" of beer, then to finish , a "schooner" ice cream sundae., kind of a friendly competition. I'm tall and skinny, he was big football player type ... and we never failed to finish, to the amazement of diners, staff, and sometimes ourselves.

    Love loved loved it when you wore it in a mohawk :-) or a faux hawk as they call it nowadays!
    Got to go :-) I have more videos to watch :-) it's back to school here in wisconsin, and as a hairstylist, it has been a hair stampede!
    Feels like we've cut every single child's hair in this whole city in the past two weeks, we are competitive hair stylists :-)
    I don't know how you do it, I don't know how you fit it all in there, however, I love it that your favorite part is the T-shirt:-)

    Man that looks delicious.
    Good job again Mr. Beard.
    Those salats look like 2 different cole slaw recipes. The left one looks like the one from KFC and the right one more like a classical one.
    Greetings from germany 🇩🇪

    I'm sat eating a 3 egg omelette with a pile of chorizo and feeling full. It still amazes me how you fit all that in your stomach and not pass out in a food coma. Kudos to you, Adam. Thoroughly enjoyed watching these. 🙂
    PS Russian dressing as a spicier version of Thousand Island.
    PPS Should have read the comments ^^^

    The key distinction between the two spreads lies in their flavor profiles. Russian dressing features horseradish and chili pepper, making it spicy. Sweet pickle relish is a key ingredient in Thousand Island dressing, which makes it sweet.

      Russian dressing doesn't need horseradish or chili pepper. It has soaked and then finely minced onion. This adds an umami fresh onion flavor to the sauce. At least this is how it is at most delis and how I make it. Ive never had a spicy russian dressing and i've been to many jewish style delis in a few cities.

    Very impressive as always, also I'm fairly certain I heard gasps when you asked about the dessert menu.

    It doesn’t matter how much you don’t eat before but the human stomach is not meant to have that much food in it in such a short amount of time and people that do these challenges are idiots

    Most places I've been in America call it Thousand Island. I think calling it Russian Dressing is a bit of a North Eastern thing. I could be wrong though.

    Russian dressing is totally different than Thousand Island in USA. Russian is yummy and sweet with a tomato tang. Thousand is more mayonnaise and minutely chopped pickle taste. And is also really yummy. Russian is more reddish and Thousand is more McDonalds secret sauce pink/brown colored. FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We 'Mercans actually have both, Russian dressing & 1000 Island,. Two similar yet different dressings, with 1000 Island tending to be creamier. You know us, we have to 20-50 versions of near similar items, to appease everybody's tastes, lol.

    Those meat sections look so large and incredibly hard to eat. I thought it was funny they said they should make the sandwich bigger... I don't think I know one person IRL who can finish that in one sitting.
