Great jump! Hope you don't think all paraglider pilots are stupid just because one was unfriendly. Look forward to more videos By the way, the paraglider he flies is actually a kite paraglider hybrid hihi
I'm skydiver and I know few paragliders and they are very nice so I'm surprised that someone was unfriendly to him, even tho I didn't saw that in this video.
The way these kites attach to the harness would be completely unacceptable to a rock climber or a skydiver. It is meant to pull you across the water, not to fly 100 feet in the air.
the paraglider is not unfriendly! He's just having issues with you blocking their flying spot with your stationary kite&lines! And that makes total sense, 4-5 pers having fun vs 1 ego having fun. After the discussion they let you have your fun and stayed away from you which is really nice of them!
Sadly you can’t hear it in the video but he was quiet unfriendly. Dennis tried to share the spot for a duration of 10min just for the jump… He drove 3h to the spot for this 10min jump and the spot was huge!
@@adsertheblade I don't think you understand my point. The best playground for the gliders is exactly where he walks upwards: dune and edge of cliffs. While gliders can easily pass each other, a standing kiter with long lines is a big obstacle. Kinda like a ship in your best flatwater spot.
While fun and impressive, people need to recognize that kiteboarding gear is simply not designed with this in mind. You're equipment does not have the redundancies of dedicated flight equipment, you are effectively hanging from thin sailing rope. If any of your lines were to snap, you'd be taking a 300ft fall with no backup chute, and no 'partial' canopy to ease your impact. It's the same reason the community does not support towed/ winched kiteboarding stunts.
I saw this guy kite glide off a mountain in europe and fly something like 10km and 2300m high... crazy af and theres multiple clips of people kite gliding off buildings, but tbh I never seen anyones line snap. ever. I'm sure it could happen, but Ive never heard of it myself, have you?
@@zweed69 my lines have snapped twice. Everyone I know has had line failures on relatively new gear. Also the person you saw in Europe was paragliding, which has redundancies, kiteboarding gear does not
Incredible 😍😍 things could go wrong so quickly if that kite start misbehaving while he's walking up along the edge of that cliff.. 😱
Looks like the perfect sport to me a little flying a little surfing.
Yeah, I'm skydiver but would like to try this sport because I love sea and ocean a lot.
Base jump, paragliding and kitesurfing all in once 😂
Good morning , nice video
I wish you good health and a nice day 🌞☕
Greetings Janusz from Warsaw, 🇵🇱 🖐️Poland ✌️
That was fricking awesome... so cool.
Much respect 👊
Breathtaking! Question: How did you get that amazing shot?
360 degree camera on a pole.

Yeah! 😉

Beautifull scenes 😊👍
Got to love it!!!!
It seemed like the wind changed direction ... first away from the cliff, then back toward it. Or maybe that's an illusion from the 360 camera?
That is definitely what I call sending it!
I should say this "it's worth the dare" she has taken, ❤❤❤❤
Soooooo sweet
Next time, you need to ask permission from the local paragliders, you obviously weren't aware that they own this public beach.
Yep, this is a big violation.
Lol that its a public spot, its not owned by any paraglider. That dude was simply rude.
Or....Maybe concerned about a brother hurting himself.
why cant people on youtube understand sarcasm?
So cool 👌🏻
Nice Dennis :)

Kinda like walking a pterodactyl

Was it a potential dangerous situation for them ?
How kind that they are sharing the public beach with the kiter who is only stationary because they are stopping him from moving on.
