Congrats ME! Just picked up my X5 and it’s a beast! Loving everything about it! Traded on my 528i and what a difference the height, legroom & torque makes. Now I need to invest in a deeper exhaust sound. 🤔😎
Just picked up this exact same vehicle. It is my first BMW and it is extremely nice!
People are saying this suv is ugly..you won’t find another suv that looks better than the X5...and the 50i is a beast!

For those saying its dated we had test drove every suv on the market before deciding on the 2018 X5 so we have been in and drove the top 10 on the market. With the Ambient Lighting and Idrive customizability nothing was able to compare to all the settings it can do and with the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, technology and honestly it was the quietest ride of every suv we test drove and it had the most power. I have never wanted a BMW before we went in last min because it was across from the volvo dealer where we were going to get the new xc90 and soon as I drove the X5 it was decided right then and there that it was the one for us and we loved our experience so much so that my boyfriend went back 6 days later and got the 5 series 540i. We have been Lexus drivers the past 10 years and we are very glad we made the switch to BMW. I love my X5 and loving his 5 series as well. Ps. Great job on your review Gold Pony.

@@GiannasEscapades ahah lots of taste in that message! The q8 is a dream vehicle. I’m a true Audi and Mercedes fan but I can’t deny the f15 x5. Seems like a good reliable used options so I’m finally going for my first bmw! How do you compare the handling with the newer q5 to the x5
@@prabeeshsidhu You really can not go wrong with the X5 its a great car you will be happy with it. And my Q8 now compared to the X5 is a different experience the are about the same size but with the Q8 being more of a sports coupe suv I would say it handles sportier then the x5 and its smoother driving but its also Audis flagship compared to the x5. But I love Bmws Idrive system and the side of the x5 it really is a beautiful suv I love the newly designed x5's I actually was planning on getting the 2021 x5 instead of the Q8 but I couldn't find one with the options I wanted so I got the Q8 instead I wanted the x5 to have the new lighted roof that they were offering but couldn't find one with that option. But really happy with the q8 for now but I get bored easy :)
The X5 as shown has LED adaptive headlights also the wheels are 20 x 10“ width on the front and 20 x 11” on rear.

it's so good that i reveiwed it again even though it doesnt need a review. these have gotten cheaper since the new gen x5 hit the roads. check out my review if it still lives up to expectations :)

Love my 2014 X5 handles like a sports car, very fast, tight in the corners. long distance rides of 8 hours or more just don't get tired driving. Sound system awesome by far better then very high end other brands. Center console easy to use tells you details of everything PSi tires, horse power, torque, service when due, on and on. I will say the third row seating is a complete waste of time and money but everything else is equal to or surpasses the competition. Interior and exterior is still the best fit form and function! I spent more for more because I expect to drive it 8 to 10 years. And i'm certain it will still look great. I would add that the run flat tires are a great feature given I have picked up a few screws and nails along the way. I just took a look at the 2018 Mazda CX9 That looks like a great ride for about $45k check out the TH-cam reviews. If I were to make a buy today I think there's a good chance that's where I'd put my money.
wtf your going to have it for 8-10 years why would you ever do that. technology will be so much better just lease cars for 2-3 years and get in and out

Anytime u get your battery replaced on this car. Make sure the battery cables are secure. The car can and will catch fire 🔥if the cables are not secure

Question. Are there any online car purchasing websites that you like ? I need to buy a new car and I don’t want to deal with the car sales person. Cartelligent? Carmax? Any advice ?
I've never tried it but I've heard Truecar is a good website for no haggle prices because they work with some of your local dealerships who may or may not be "Truecar Certified" so you may want to try that or just send an internet salesperson an email. As a former car salesperson I know all internet salespeople should be able to send you a discounted price via email to help you make a decision. Hope that helps!

Every time I see those ugly, round, out-of-place front fog lights, I just think, “WHY!?” It would make the front end look so much better if BMW would redesign and reposition them. They just simply do not belong there.

Excellent observation. If they would make them edgy and not round and also a little to the angle not in the center they will give more agressive and sportive look to the front. But seriously BMW are very afraid of change.
They did redesign them with the 2018 X3. I bet it is coming for the next gen of X5.

This Suv is in dire need of a total upgrade really, it's been the same for a while now. Interior design is old and exterior design isn't great. There's a reason why it doesn't get great sale numbers globally even in Europe it isn't top 3 BMW highest selling vehicle. If it can't do great in Europe where German cars have all the advantage, forget about it globally.

My M 2018 package fully equipped version was stolen in 1 minute.
I locked car, walked into post office, thief was outside with a device copying my key frequency.
I walk out of Post office. Car gone.
CCTV at the police station showed how it took 1 minute, all filmed.
Car not yet retrieved.... Contacted BMW in written (BMW USA with ffd to BMW Germany) as to what the fuck is going on, if this is a joke, no response from neither !!!!!!!.
BMW and their bullshit with highest security. Meanwhile my insurance gave me a 2015 BMW X5 (for 1 month, only then car is considered a full loss). This 2015 is another piece of shit. Trunk opened automatically 3x already (within 3 weeks) while in red stops... The MAP is worse than on an 2010 Audi A1, totally primitive, even a 2009 Corolla has a more sophisticated GPS map, I really have zero idea what kind of garbage BMW builds this day and their lies with "max security"...
People, if you get this car, buy one of those special bags that blocks the keyless frequency and put your key each time into it.

Sure, I have full insurance, but fuck, I can't be bothered anymore, you guys have no idea, I had to sit with the cops and an insurance expert in the same room and was basically interrogated, at one point I asked them if I have to contact my lawyer...that is when they back off. Fucking ridiculous. Spent 120,000 usd all in all, and not even one reply of BMW apologizing or anything really, regarding this car's laughable security that apparently a device that costs 300 usd on ebay, can bypass. My brother has a Hyundai i40, and when he contacted Hyundai about other issues, they replied to him with solutions within 24 hours, a 25,000 usd car....I guess I have to get Korean and Japanese cars from now on, fuck BMW.
Welcome to the disgruntled BMW buyers club. Mine leaked water from a light socket in the roof every time it rained, engineering defect in all X5, to fix it , they had to take the car apart . 1 week + in the shop. 5 times to the shop the first month. I met a lot of disgruntled customers at the dealer. Poor people that work there, have to make excuses and apalogize as a daily routine.
