The Terracotta Warriors are indeed a sight to behold, but they're located in Xi'an, which is quite a bit inland from where our cruise takes us. However, we're definitely planning to head back to China after our cruise to explore more, including Xi'an. A long day on a bus. Noted that some from the ship had a evening tour while you had a day tour. Was there an option available or just assigned a time?
Yes, there was two options. A 11 hour just the wall tour during the day, or a 17 hour tour with the Forbidden City and the wall. That tour, you didn't get to the wall until late in the evening and the funicular wasn't running so you had to climb a lot of stairs. Most of the people chose the 17 hour but we wanted to see the Wall during the day. We will return to China someday and see the Forbidden city.
