This movie is not exactly a example of good animation, so when that Red fight against boingo kicks in and it is actualy very well choreographed, its very surprinsing
There's nothing like having a good breakdown and then switching to peak grandiosity, and having one last small breakdown to kind of bring me back down.
That’s how I was exposed to this movie. I remember Cartoon Network airing movies like the Older Pokémon Movies, a lot of the Scooby Doo movies, the live action Diary Of A Wimpy movies, Ed Edd and Eddy Big Picture Show and The Kids Next Door Movie. Those were wonderful times!
Boingo is obviously the villain ever since he appears in Wolf's story. And it's just more hilarious when it's revealed that he's behind the whole thing.

1:01 one of the greatest foreshadowing ever! He didn’t even seem that sketchy like most folks in movies, he seemed normal and I was always thinking You know since hes a bunny it makes sense for him to go around certain areas, but after the third which I think was with grandma, and ofcourse hearing recipes being stolen, I started to think he was being abit weird now, BUT I DID’NT notice this part, I thought it was to say he was going for the hand but clearly he tried to get it! For a kids movie this made me an instant fan.
Also during Granny’s story before the reveal that Boingo was evil if you look at the clipboard from the back while granny is signing it you can see the letters ‘E’ and ‘V’ It’s not as great of a foreshadowing moment as the one you brought up, but it’s still another moment of foreshadowing I noticed while editing this video.
The Keith criticism I believe was the dialogue Andy improvised because he didn't like the name for a henchman. The fact that they kept the rant really made the scene golden.
I mean- It was SUPPOSED to be a twist that he's the villain. I'm not defending the animation style or the plethora of corny jokes in Hoodwinked, but this criticism straight-up seems like you didn't even watch the movie before commenting. It would have probably made the twist too obvious if they showed the rabbit for the entire runtime.
You wouldnt believe how shocked ı was when ı was a kid watching this. Considering this was a movie with an aim towards kids(i mean it s made for kids), you find this plot twist like crap with an adult’s mind which is natural
I know this movie gets a bad rap for its low-quality animation, but watching it again really shows the Rankin-Bass vibes the film was going for. Especially compared to other cg animated films with this level of quality. A testament to the whole not what you have, but how you use it. Makes me wish they'd make a sequel that'd make it closer to the R/B style, especially with all those shorts by Worthikids online.
He's quickly shifting through his fragmented personality, the sad frustrated bunny, the Machiavellian, and then the sad frustrated bunny again. It's sad but funny to relate to.
Even though the animation isn’t great, I’m still impressed with how tight-knit the story was because they couldn’t do any redos with the animation due to their experience and budget. A lot of care was put into it and I still love how entertaining this movie is to this day.
The hints are actually surprisingly subtle. He appears in all the characters's retelling of their stories. His uneasy, anxious style of talking can be dismissed as his personality. And his "blink and you'll miss it" facial expressions that give away his true intentions add a very rewarding pay off to viewers who were paying attention.
