0:54 I’ve only pick up bbcf a few weeks ago and maybe like 20+ hours with Terumi but holy shit I know this pain. 100 meters gone and standing there pretty much defendless due to a mis inputted super. Good vid, maybe one day I’ll be able to cook like you.
As a former Terumi main with 500+ hours myself, this makes me happy. You've well exceeded what I ever came up with in labbing. Sleek, stylish, and clean. ❤
Terumi combos are just too much fun to do, the freedom of his combos is straight up liberating. I honestly think he’d be high tier if not for a few of his “shortcomings”.

A friend of mine got me this game and I've had a blast playing with 2 of my friends over the past year. I have 100+ hours on terumi now, and I'll admit I'm pleased to see some of the fruits of my own labbing in this, and while frankly I don't think I have that amazing use of cancellation, the fun of terumi stomping is always a joy and oh man the 22Cs after 6C...As well as the overhead right after...delicious and certainly gonna take from some of that!
@@SOUNDFX850 Well I`m 31 now so a real sicko amount...I`ve beat some of the best players the game has to offer including SKD/Kiba/Kizzy Kay/Fame96 ect it don`t get much better than that tbh, But personally I stopped keeping track of hours many many years ago, but if I had to estimate for my 12+ years of play it would be somewhere around 50k hours overall, I have over 5K hours for this just version and i`ve played every version since the start,As crazy as 50k sounds, there are pros that have played street fighter for 20+ years and have more hours than that so its each to there own time brackets with these older games lol.
I’ve only put about 300 hours in and roughly 20 of it is Terumi sets. Are these corner combo sequences looped like this for best benefits or just easier to execute?
Execution with Terumi is fairly easy compared to other characters. Going for 2c > rc into corner, it's better to do 5c > 3c > 222c > 214c > 3c > ( > 5c ) > 236d. If you get 5a/2a, (66) 5b or 5c in corner just do ( > 5b ) 5c > 3c > 222c > 214c > 2b > 5c ( > 5d ) > 236d/2c. That way, it's consistent and wouldn't reach combo limit or drop accidentally. If you want more damage, 5c starter in corner is always good. If you get 66 (microdash) 5b starter on grounded opponent, go for 66 5b > 5c > 222c > a+b (crush trigger) > 6ddd > 5c > 3c > 236d ( > 632146d or any super ender), dishes out most of the damage you can get it the corner. After 5c or 222c you can overdrive cancel and do whatever, just get 2ddd > 5c > 236d into super or od loops into ender. I never drop these, the ones I might drop occasionally are the stomp > whiff snakebite link bnb and messenga extension combos. Terumi is easy to pick up and fast to optimize, he just has trouble with matchups and OS'ing pressure/defence (also cos his counter assault is the worst). As much as I enjoyed playing Terumi, I personally prefered playing as Hazama instead. The shenanigans you could get up to with Ouroboros.
