Looking forward to trying it out, but how do you edit a long form video on descript? Anything files above 2GB makes descript sloooooow, pressing the play button has a 2-3 second delay, is there any tips to make Descript more responsive, would really like to use descript for pod cast editing?
I see the automatic Multicam feature and like most new Descript releases, I keep hoping that multicam is solved (at least in the way you can do them in FCPX). Is that the case now? Can I dump in some audio files, some video files of different angles, and descript will put them all together?
I have found editing my older videos that are 20-25 min long extremely time consuming in Descript so many of the features like studio sound are hidden unless you are on the exact layer/ scene.

Guys, please add support for vst plugins. To use my waves plugins, I need to use additional software which adds up to my workflow. Also, please allow saving presets. I record with the same settings all the time and it would save so much time. Both of these features consistently appear in your feature requests and get voted for. And then appear again under a different thread.
I downloaded ‘Overload’ and hate it. I’m sure it’s just me but I struggled to add ‘B Roll’. After wasting quite a bit of time, I switched to a different computer that had not updated yet. I was able to finish my video easily using the familiar features. Descript is good at fixing things so I will hope my experience improves soon. If not, I will be spending more time learning to use the competition.
Stupidest update ever!!!! Where did my custom subtitles and B-roll clips go? Why can't I no longer customize any subtitle or anything on the scene? Where is the button to add MY music and my sound effects?!?

so Underlord is powered by Open-AI or not? how woke and censored is it? Is it going to be absolutely useless for any adult themed or non-woke traditiional liberal-left or moderate middle podcasts? Wishing Descript the best, but if this is the case descript will get completely dethroned by a runner up that uses Grok.

You may need more RAM.😅 I had the same problem until I upgraded up to 16 GB of RAM from 8 GB.

Have you tried applying studio sound to the original file versus each segment in the timeline?
