I absolutely love the features of Descript. It's impressive. There's no software that can do what it does. I wish the user interface was better, imo it doesn't match its capabilities, but overall extremely happy user : )
Day by day Descript is absolutely killing it with these new AI features. I was beyond happy with eye contact launching and now regenerate audio feature is making me even happier. I will definitely be using this because I have many bloopers where I restart and then my audio sounds off. Super helpful feature! I will share some content on this as a step so more people can try this
Thank you for the Regenerate feature. It will save my life especially with all the background noises when I am recording. I never noticed so much ambient noise around me until I became a podcaster. Will be trying ths feature when I edit my episodes.
Can we mass do this to the whole composition cuts? it would be very time consuming to click each cut one by once. To be honest Other than removing filler words the Edting UI is slow and not very intuitive. I export the timeline to Pro Tools were i can do magic on the audio and have unlimited versatility.
It's getting so easy to edit that soon our dogs will be doing the editing... and removing the human noises so that the important barking can be properly heard by the dog audiences. 😁
Is there any reason why using this feature removes Video for sequences? It breaks my whole workflow and I feel like this needs to be fixed. Its such a great feature limited by its lackluster implementation. Is there any workaround?
It's amazing for English. Any notes on when (or IF) you're going to make regenerate work for smaller languages as well? In my case, I'm thinking specifically of Swedish. When I try to use regenerate for that right now, it sounds really bad.
Is there a way for studio sound to be partially disabled or changed ratio on just one word? Here how I am using studio sound: I have one track, I apply studio sound and export two tracks to my DAW, one with studio sound and one without studio sound. In DAW I edit both tracks when I get to the part with laughing where SS is pretty bad and robotic I switch to the tracks without SS applied just for that part. So I am mixing it the whole time to take best out of it. If this could be done I could use Desctript only without DAW.
Studio Sound not working with my video. Suddenly My Video Background maximized audio noise with hiss sound and that thing was very disturbing for my video editing.

Hey there - you can try applying our Studio Sound feature to your audio! It's ideal for white noise (air conditioners, vents, etc), wind, and other similar sounds. Agreed, the only major area for improvement is improving the modularity of the UI

They've literally just shown you a video showing how it works like that.
It needs a highlight and crossfade all trim option rather than a manual crossfade. It's a bit time-consuming, to be honest.
Is this part of the creator plan?
