Great tutorial. Question. If you have Riverside FM why not use their editing tools? There are many similar features on that platform that do the job. Just would like to know so I can move forward with improving my editing skills-Thanks
Thanks! At the time when I made this tutorial Riverside's editing tools were very basic. They've improved but you still don't get the amount of control you have in Descript. If you're just looking for a basic edit, then yes, you might as well do it in Riverside to keep things simple. But if you want to have more control over the layout of the video or add b-roll while people are talking then you'll need to use Descript or another video editor.
@@vp-land Agree, there's a lot Riverside still can't do. For example, my head wasn't centered in the clips it created and there was no way to fix that.

Is there a wide shot option for Multicam if you filming together?
Is there no longer an integration between Descript and Riverside? Don't see that in my account, but curious if its tier blocked.
Should still be there, but other way around. Riverside -> Descript
Have you tried descript podcast platform to record your shows?
no, already have a good workflow with Riverside. Heard Squadcast had issues but that was a while ago, would still like to try it out
