Hi Helen, I’ve been looking for a non spicy Korean salad dressimg. Years ago, I enjoyed a raw abd fresh bowl of salad greens (owner brought out as a bonus for supporting her families businessj The fresh raw salad I beleive had dark greens, scallops and herb leaves. Do you have a fresh green salad without the red spicy additions. If not, I’ll use the dressimg used in your kale side dish. I think it’s the familar flavors of Korean seasonings with the crunch of fresh salad leaves and produce.
Hi Helen, just a question..I wanted to follow one of your recipes,so I sent for dried kombi seaweed, plenty of date left on it...but when I opened packet it looked like a powdered mould on some of them.is this ok to use? Hope you don't mind me asking😊 I love your recipes,I'm a bit obsessed actually. 😅😂
Hi 👋 Excellent question! If it is within the expiration date, that is always good. The white powdery coating is actually salt. BUT if u actually see mold, don’t use it. BTW, kombi is Japanese, which works, too. The Korean dried sea kelp is Dashima 다시마
Yum. 100% making this. What can l use instead of Beef Dashida or MSG please? Budget won't allow extra purchases but, l have everything else already. Google says fish sauce but, l'm not convinced. l do have powdered chicken stock and powdered beef stock. Would either of those work please? Thank you. PS: Have just gone to your playlist trying to find how to cook the rice dish you show at the end but, l can't find it. Have l missed something? Also, what a playlist! I would eat EVERYTHING! ❤
Hi 👋 I also suggested a small pinch of MSG as another option. But try making it without it cuz u might still like it. As for the purple rice recipe, it is tagged on this video and the description box has the playlist link which has the recipe video.
