Annoys me the way Canadians and Americans think us Irish eat Corned beef and cabbage on St Patricks day. As a 100 percent Irish person I can tell you we don't eat it on paddy's day and only the very odd irish person will eat it on any given day. We eat Bacon with cabbage also known as gammon in other parts of the world. Gammon is cured salted lean bacon..... Just had to get that off my chest.
