- One of my biggest inspirations over the years has been the Odd world universe. The games and the animated cut scenes always stood out as unique, quirky, imaginative and
have stuck with me throughout the years.This art-of book was the first one in my collection and I have been adding more ever since.
I'm going to make a series of flip through videos of some of my
favorites books in my possession in the hopes that I can get others to enjoy and be inspired by the work done by the creators that inspired me to draw and create.
The Art of Odd world: Inhabitants highlights the artistic journey of the legendary game company Odd world Inhabitants over its first ten years.
The book depicts the story of the art and vision of the Odd world franchise and how the company approaches the art/design process.

Your lucky to own one of these, their selling for ridiculous sums the last time I looked, over 2k for just a book…though admittedly the greatest art book ever made. Big fan too, & also had the same effect in my creative career.
The only strange thing is the Sligs visors... on the first and second games, they are not this two-eyed pilot mask visors... they are like a Cyclops one visor only. Only the flying sligs use this kind of mask. Strange, right? Where are the art design of the original ones?
Very jealous! haha Almost impossible to get in the UK for under £200 to the highest i have seen on Ebay currently which is £2000.
