No one literally NO ONE hates Jim Carrey. He is just a Keanu Reeves Character. Theres no hate towards such people. If someone hates them they've a big problem with themselves
lol what he's probably the worst one hands down. goofy as hell and not to be taken seriously at all. it's literally just jim carrey in a green suit. do you even know what riddler is like in the comics? gotham's riddler, now that is the best one, as much as the rest of the show is pretty mediocre
@@braevinmaund1210Bro, Riddler from the Gotham series is indeed very cool, but the remark about "read the comics" makes no sense. The Riddler's behavior varied considerably depending on the comic era. And the Gotham Riddler looks canonical to the modern books, but remember how crazy things were in the 60s. Jim Carrey always plays the same, but he really fits the role of the old Riddler
@@Alicetf2enjoyer i stand corrected. comics riddler is very different depending on the comic. but saying jim carrey is the best live action riddler is just dumb like cmon
Jim Carrey was born to play The Riddler. Like Jack Nicholson as The Joker, Jim Carrey beat out Robin Williams for The Riddler. Jim delivers the comedic side of The Riddler and that's what Joel wanted.
carrey as Riddler wasn't that bad at all in comparison to rest of way too dorky comic-like movie. Too much like classic but cheesy old show with Adam west
I want to write that my name is Josh Tate and i'm writing that i really liked Batman Forever and i really believed that it was a really great Batman film. i also want to write that the year 2024 will also be Batman's 85th anniversary year too..
Through the history of the Riddler character, I still think Frank Gorshin, above all others, nailed the laugh. But Carrey makes a strong case on all the other elements. And he does look good in question marks, doesn't he?!
Jim Carrey is better off as the Mad Hatter, im not talking about Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter, im not talking about the Batman Villain Mad Hatter, also, isn't the riddler more calm than this?
Riddler can be very over the top and maniacal. He wants to prove his intellectual superiority over everyone and Batman in particular, but truth be told, he has to tax his intellect to its fullest to come up with ways to thwart Batman and he always comes up short, which makes him feel wildly insecure about himself. Riddler is supposed to be the kind of guy who is teetering on the edge of insanity, taxing himself to the fullest of his abilities, only to end up in maddening frustration because even at his best and brightest, he's still not good enough to defeat Batman which triggers his insecurity issues again. He's both obsessed with and loathes his own mind, which Carrey did an okay job showing. He went a little too 'Ace Ventura' with it, but it still works given the fact that Two Face was doing the exact same over the top acting. As were Robin and Dr Chase.
Anyone surprised by Carey's 2018 meltdown into dementia and paranoia is blind. Even here you can see, he's not all there. He's not just this quirky gimmick. He's one of those weirdos who would do anything to get a serious Hollywood casting. It's really true. Hollywood and La is the most shallow place on earth, and the people that strive to live there are all kookie
Maybe today, Jim Carrey could play a Batman villain as a much more serious actor, at that time, they only asked him to move his face as much as he could ... sometimes it worked in comedies, but in this, my God, That is not The Riddler.
@Andrew Floravit Bipolar depression ain't nothing to knock at. Robin Williams had a similar personality, yet I don't hear anyone taking that out on him, for the roles HE played.
I use to love him carry he use to be one of my #1 Fav actors now I hate him he's turned in to one of most biggest Looney libtards I'm so disappointed in him ugh 😠😔☹
I thought that was supposed to be what the entire movie was. Over the top, campy Batman reminiscent of the Adam West version, rather then the dark, grim, angsty version set forth by Burton. Like, they wanted this movie to turn out this way. I don't see it as a problem, per se. It's different and certainly not for everyone, but it was still a fun movie. No one ever said Batman has to be dark and broody all the time. Campy, goofy, over the top Batman has its fans too, you know.
Actually it's a beautiful movie. The only problem is people don't see it for what it is. Joel Schumacher was not trying to make a dark movie. He was trying to bring a comic book to life. Batman Forever is the perfect comicbookmovie. I love it!
Always loved Jim's line about him not being physical but crazy enough to pick up a rock. 👍
Love him or hate him, There’s *no denying him*

@@dasha4102 Tommy hates him
Creating the riddler it wasn’t hard it’s just Jim being himself dressed in green tights with question marks on them
He still put character into the character
4:05 -- Alfred manages to move the tray away from the door while unconscious.
Dang you have good eyesight I never even seen that before loll
His cane skills are over 11.
Jim Carrey is the BEST riddler hands down
Lay off the drugs

Like the new, shit Lex Luthor...
No. The new Lex Luthor looks like Edward Nygma!
Cannot praise enough those cane skills. He did it so flawlessly, you can tell he practiced hard on it.
The rumor is they will be making another spiderman movie and they want Jim Carey to play carnage I'd say he's the perfect actor to play that character
Yeah... maybe 15 or 20 years ago.
Most underrated villain in history. He’s right next to the joker characters
I loved this movie! Everything about it.
4:13 "He'll pick up a rock"
Jim Carey could be the joker!
I know right.
no...he dont lockinn evil
Marilyn Manson would make a better Joker but I would LOVE to see Jim Carey reprise his role as The Riddler
Hell no.....
The way Jim Carrey says "joie de vivre" lives rent free in my head
Carrey: perfect actor to play the Ridler!! 😃🤣😃😃
Jim carrey owns this shit !
I ❤️ Jim Carrey 😁

Mort3000 Riddler is completely nuts and full of himself. He just got Jim Carrey-fied for the movie.

Personally, I've pictured someone like Steve Buscemi as the Mad Hatter...
Jim Carrey has more of an Ambush Bug vibe...
Mort3000 I say Scarecrow. He's thin enough.
Id say this is over the top
But go back and watch the 60s batman show. Its like the Riddler is trying to out do the Joker on the over the top scenes
Handsome guy 🎉
I think jim Carrey is edward nygma aka the riddler
4:17 looks like the riddler shiting in his pants😂😂😂
4:06 LOL
Best Riddler ever
This is the best riddler . Genius crazy always happy and stupid❤️
Plot was ahead of its day. Could relate today.
Jim Carrey should've been in the movie the mystery begins at the inquisitive criminal Riddler
Honestly jim carrey as the joker was the main reason why I thought I liked this movie as a kid.
Jim was hated by Tommy because of his personality

So Riddler is responsible for today’s brainrot.
I wish the character was written better, then, it migh even have been a good movie.
He played it way over the top. That was the problem.
