This port fixes all the problems we had with the original, now we just need someone to make models with more polygons, I also hope they can reverse engineer Majora's Mask, with Nerrel's HD texture pack that would be the perfect remaster.
The Majora's Mask decompilation project has reverse engineered the game for 80% already. Just a matter of time before it gets the same treatment :)

Thanks for the vid, will be of great help. I assume the texture pack of the older video where you use SpecialK to inject the pack to the PC Port also works with this updated setup in SoH version 7 (not just the pack in the description)?
I am actually using this pack currently and it makes me super exited for custom models becasue this game is wraping up to be almost basically a remaster on PC. 4K textuers, ultra widescreen, 60, 144, and 175 FPS mod support. What else can you ask for?
just need some lighting mods like enb on skyrim or shaders on minecraft
Just a few mods that replaces the pre rendered hyrule textures with geometry like in the 3ds port, and make split screen an alternitive to ivan, a 3ds model pack, some new lighting and we'll be running the best version of ocarina in history

Why don't we have any high quality model packs yet? I saw a mod for melee Link but, the young model looks jank, and the other characters seem out of place because of the quality
Did you have to do anything special to get the tab button to swap between classic graphics and the mod pack? I recently installed OoT reloaded and pressing tab doesn't flip between styles for some reason.

been running a randomizer on an older version. If I update my game will it effect the rando? Just made it to Ganon's Castle and dont wanna lose my progress.
Someone needs to make a mod to correct the biggoron sword scabbord when equiped like OOT 3D....maybe import the model ? Same with the sword too...time for that to be updated but with original textures / oot relaoded

But when i put the texture pack into the mods
folder, the ship of harkinian won't open
anymore.. I have to redowload the ship to play
oot again.

I am having the same issue. I think the problem is that the texture pack isn’t fully up to date with the latest release of soh. The only fix I can think of is to download an earlier version of soh (7.1.0 for example). However, I cant seem to figure out how to do so
Isnit possible to add texture packs to the switch/wii u port?
When I go to download the OTR file on their site, my download is locked to 10kb/sec and would take 15 hours. Does anyone have the OTR file somewhere else I could download it from?
I wonder if such thing cqn also work on console ports? The switch port for example
It very well could. You would probably only want the 1080 version as to not completely kill your switch XD

I am using 7.01 version and with 1080p and 4K packs I got tons of stuttering. My specs are AMD 5800x Nvidia 3080 and 32GB RAM
Hi. I had a lot of stuttering and audio crackling as well. Here is how I fixed it: Change the graphics API to OpenGL in the game itself. Head to Nvidia Control Panel and change following settings for the soh.exe: Vsync on, Triple buffering on, favor max. performance, turn off Gsync (if you have a Gsync monitor), cap fps to whatever you set in the game.

Another thing that helped me was to go with the HD version instead of 4k pack.
I even have a 13900k with geforce 4090 and the 4k pack has stutter with my specs.
me too, this texture pack give lot of stutterring, openg gl + triple buffering reduces the problem a little
I dont have the use assets option under Graphics
Enhancements > Graphics > Mods (at the very top) > Use Alternate Assets
Everytime i click on the alternate assets option nothing changes for me. Am i doing something wrong? Do i have to do something else before it works?! Appreciate the help in advance.

make sure you download the otr file also make sure you are extracting the file from the zip

The mod works but I cant swap between default and mod.

Instead of downloading it as an OTR file it downloaded it as 7z, what do I do?
Unzip the file and you have the OTR file :)

Does anyone know where to put the files if they are on mac? or is it not possible?
I’ve been stumbling with the same issue. Can’t find the mods folder when I click on show enclosed files with soh. Shame because there’s barely any tutorials out there for it.
you have to use a build that makes a mods folder. making one yourself doesn't work. you probably have to use the new soh builds.

They have OTR and OTR_8x now. I don't which is which.
just start the download and see which one is smaller
that is what I did but I didn't actually install the mod
otr_8x every texture is 8 times the size of the original oot textures
