Its absolutely unreal to me that the repair cost on this lays around 11k, and the repair cost on my American MBT is somewhere at like 5k, and the American one gets thermals and is about 3x as fast.
Gajin can you decrease the repair cost on the chieftains they are stupidly over priced for vehicles that are over tiered. I’m dumb and Insane enough to get this far into Britain so I’ll give my advice: - Don’t rush, your not a leopard. - Use cover not concealment - Never push without range and awareness - use your allies, not your armor Your essentially an old wooden sniper rifle (skip the Mk.5, it’s slightly more mobile for a stupid cost)
The chieftan is easily the most worthless MBT at its BR, because at its BR it gets outrun by everything (The enemy will always be waiting for you) and it is actually uncommon when someone can not pen your turret (you will be eating a lot of HEAT projectiles), and then the cannon, nothing wrong there, except the fact that you will be seeing enemies with LR's and maybe even thermals at the same BR (BMP-2's, WMA's, PTL's, T55 AM-1s) as well as its substantial reload. I am not saying that the stats of the chieftan should be changed, but why on god is it 8.3 when everything it faces is just plain out better.
Don't rush for shooting positions you have no chance of reaching then lol. Mk3 armour isn't reliable but it does save you every now and then. Like everything else you don't depend on armour at that BR. The turret armour is far more reliable on the MK10 because it can absorb APFSDS with little issue in a reasonably wide arc and the vulnerable area for gun crits is small. The main flipside of losing mobility is that you have a gun that almost always pens and almost always one shots to center of mass with spalling, while also being stabilised, high velocity and having excellent depression and good handling characteristics. It's perfectly fine in an 8.3 lineup with SA vehicles in support.
You can also purchase a real life Chieftan Mk 10 for around $85,000, or at least you used to be able to get one for that price. Also, a lot of movies that feature Abrams tanks are actually Chieftans with kits installed to make them look like Abrams (Courage under fire is a good example of this).

"Sight distance control" in controls. There is allso "mosewheel" drop menu in the control options where you can select what your mouse wheel does. One of those options is "sight distance control" these are the options you are looking for. Cheers!

I hate how the discussion around the cheiftain is always about its 'great armor'. It doesn't make sense. At 8.3 you're already seeing tons of APFSDS and fighting from a hull down position is far less likely than anyone makes it out to be.
Don't buy anything from Gaijin , don't support them until they fix the game issues , if they delete this comment . They don't believe in the freedom of speech .

I really wish that i could play war thunder but i only could play for 2 hours sometimes i really want to play the sturmtiger or other tanks to get better and stronger but sadly because of school stress and other things i could not play even if its my favorite game of all times

5th gen fighters are miles away and would never be a premium, they added gripen su27 and f15 but I guarantee they never make a true top tier premium, the grind is pain especially for me a British air main

@@caturlifelive tbh it gets very boring and repetitive after a while. Especially if your heli just has ATGMs.
