Shaker knit sweaters were popular in the late 80s. I had a red one with a mock turtleneck that I loved and I wish I still had it. I don't think anyone calls them shaker knit on thrift sites now, they just call them rib knit, but to be authentically 80s they should be called shaker knit.
Thanks!! My "socks" are actually cut up pants I never wore and used it as a "bootleg" leg warmers, although you can look for the actual 80s socks if you type "slouch socks" online 😀
