Loved this. In the 80s I was old enough to only play in my Mom's makeup, but my Aunt would make me up in hers anytime I asked💗 I remember they both had a lot of the bright colors, hated that trend was gone by the time I was old enough to wear it. I love that you showed neutral looks, I had no idea that existed back then. All looked great on you, 3rd was my favorite. Thanks for showing the book, I would love to pick up a copy.

Thank you! I noticed a lot of my moms old pics of her and her cousins were quite toned down makeup, no bright colors in sight. Plus, I promised my insta followers awhile back I would do this because there are many who dont really do flashier makeup. No prob, the book is so cool!

My Mom was never into the 80s trend make-up like the bright colors or blue or purple eye shadows. She did nutral colors.

Exactly why I wanted to make this, I've seen loads of pictures where girls just wore brown/grey or a little bit of eyeliner!

@@turnbacktothe80sJaz, this is merbearh82 from Instagram. You follow my Instagram page. I think you've seen a picture of my Mom back in the 80's. The one where my Mom is pushing a little tricycle up a hill with a little girl and a baby (me) on the tricycle. My Mom was in her 30s back then. She wasn't a teenager into all the trends. A lot of 30 something year olds dressed appropriately for their age. My Mom I guess liked her make-up to be just as appropriate too.

My granny wore a lot of browns, roses, and golds in the 80s, she wasn't really into all the funky colors of the decade. Try those out!
