Hi, I really enjoyed your video. I grew up in the 80’s between the ages of 9 and 19. You picked some great clothes. If you don’t mind me saying, in the 80’s just like now, the fashion trends changed with the season. Early 80’s you had everyone wearing blazers with shoulder pads. Think of the character Blair from Facts of Life. She was great early 80’s style. Actually that whole show was great for all the styles. Also “twist a bead necklaces were popular because you could change the colors to match your outfit. MTV videos were copied all the time. The band ZZ Top had a video called Legs that started every girl wanting to wear ruffle socks with pumps. One thing I used to love was banana clips when I was in high school in the later 80’s. In high school you wanted a silhouette of big hair, big shoulders belt to accentuate your waist and a tight denim mini skirt with slouchy boots. Something like that. I wore the Estée Lauder perfume “Beautiful” everyday , it was my signature scent. The perfume “Poison” was popular then too. Seemed like every girl In high school had a diamond faced watch in gold color and or a swatch watch. Guess was a coveted brand. You should see the old Guess commercials. There were lots of styles. I’m from Florida so it might have been different here because I live on the beach. Yeah, it was a fun time! 😎🌈⚡️🍕
Oh, I used to work at a department store in the 80’s called Maas Brothers. I did a fashion show at Burdines once too. We didn’t have the internet so we loved Vogue and just like now in high school we tried so hard to look classy and older. Panty hose was a must. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask. 😀

Before I got into the retrowave music, 80s nostalgia trip in during the 2020 quarantine era, I was considering of THROWING away a lot of my 80s and early 90s clothes that I found in an old box in the depths of my parents’ garage. This was back in 2015. Now, I realize that a lot of young people are appreciating these now-vintage threads and shopping for them. I noticed how well-made these clothes were, compared to today that fall apart after the third wash.
I’m 34, Male, but have always loved the decade I was born in - LOVE 80s music and I listen to 80s music everyday and constantly discovering 80s music I’ve never heard of and I love pretty much if not all 80s genres. I also love 80s fashion and I love seeing people even younger than me that’s into this fun era. I love your channel and your whole vibe!, inspired me to buy 80s and 80s inspired clothes on Ebay and Depop!

I have a t-shirt from the year I graduated from high school, 1990 with the school name on it and all of our signatures on it. Cool video 📹 😎 I love 80s music 🎶 and some of the fashion. My parents were teenagers in the mid and late 80s ,so they grew up in the best decade.

In my "closet clean out" video I state that I don't throw clothes in the garbage. I do plan on selling any piece of clothing I don't need anymore in the future when I open my own online shop. But in this video, these clothes I never plan on parting with 😂
