I did the mid muffler and resonator delete on my 2020 scat challenger widebody. Added quad tips and dynomax mini race bullets in place of mids. Sounds awesome. Get compliments and inquiries all the time. No loss in power. The race bullets help with scavenging for back pressure but keep it loud and a low growl.

Waze is my radar detector🤣 im serous as hell. Traded my 2016 Lexus ES350 to Carvana for a 2018 SRT 392 and instantly my car insurance went from $141 monthly to $276 monthly 😪
Best sounding exhaust set up for 3.5L V6 is the Resonator Delete (Rear Muffler). The Growl comes from the Mid -Muffler; the Resonators are the silencers. If you remove both, your whip will sound like a loud-ass honda.
I’ve done a lot of research on the exhaust. The after market cat backs offer almost zero in performance. The factory exhaust is pretty well tuned already. That cat backs are almost entirely for the sound. Just do the muffler delete, unless/until you’re doing serious high end performance mods.
Yeah I got a body kit also. Made for the car. Was 3” off. That’s enough room to land a plane with fitment. Had to cut it and gorilla hair it , backyard bondo and paint. Fits like a glove NOW. After 20 hours worth of work. The AM body kits are a gamble. Even w the “laser measuring “ bs mention. Laser my arse!
Radar saved me a couple of times! I got the Uniden R3 which is a little cheaper than the escort max If wanna save some $ but still have good detection!
So, I found a 2017 dodge charger R/T police interceptor for sale. Someone stole it & swapped the 5.7 with a 6.4, installed a widebody kit, scat pack seats, aftermarket headers, and a redeye hood. Since the VIN comes back to a basic RT they’re only sellin it for $14k😅
My 2021 RT hasn't even arrived from the factory yet up here in Canada, but I've already bought a set of 275 tires, Rock Guards and a Magnaflow Competition exhaust for it for when it gets here. Gonna sound mean AF

Gotta look into where the active exhaust cuts out. I want to be able to open the exhaust for that straight pipe sound but also be able to creep around in stealth mode. Maybe an electronic cutout is the way to go. Tints for sure, but not sure how dark to go. Honestly always wanted tints but never got around to it. I need visibility, but the tint looks great and the privacy helps. Plus the closer to an unmarked police car the better, civilians get out the way and cops think I’m a cop and don’t bother me. That’s one of the best things about the charger from my experience. Anyway great video great info.

Number 1 Should definitely be an alarm system. The factory alarm system is trash. Why spend money on all these mods if you may not have a car to put them in.
The sound so much better by leaving the exhaust alone. With active exaust you dont need to do a muffler delete. Makes them sound like crap. They arent quite stock. You take the mufflers off then they sound too much like a mustang

First mods should be tint and after market alarm/gps/kill switch etc etc. all that Cosmetic shit don’t matter when some random fuck is driving your car. While you’re sleep lol

I like the stock sound a bit better. I mean, its preference, so all cool. I wish I could lower it...driveway says no lol Im old and blind, window tint means I cant see nothing. Plus, I do like how the car looks sitting, showing the red alcantara inside. The ones I would do, are the mud flaps (I really would want the two nekked ladies..cmon...right?) or at least wrap it clear over those areas like the 5th gen Camaros had from factory. Those marker lights do look NICE The catch can...is iffy. In theory is sounds good, but not for the oil building on valves like many argue. Thats irrelevant since the injection isnt direct. However, it may be enough oil to alter octane number, and may increase chance of knocking. So that, might be something I will look into more. Cool vid though. But Im also partial to that red inside hehe
Here's a tip from a cop: if you're running a radar detector, and they "go off", signaling a cop is running radar, they don't do anything. If your radar detector is going off, the cop's radar is already pacing you. Anything short if a radar jammer is more like a "heads up, you're speed is being measured."
I can squash that answer, and no disrespect, but, if any of you that have a radar detector you have all add it go off when you pull up to a grocery store or certain buildings due to the type of signal they create(security cameras, etc..) the building is not locking onto you. Your radar is transmitting a wave frequency like a net being cast and picks up that frequency and says hey Mr. radar there's a frequency that matches the same range as an officer's frequency speed trap. So in sense, the officer may not be locked on you, but they are targeting cars. It does give you time to slow down, not much time, but enough. I honestly use my radar more for tracking my speed, I don't have to look at the dash and can keep my eyes on the road.
The GOPRO was ok as far as recording but whatever you were using after it Quit on you was MUCH CLEARER!!!!! It DEFINITELY recorded A LOT BETTER Quality.... in my opinion.
I got a catch can and guess i didnt tighten it up good enough cause it was oily when i checked luckily caught it early and was low on oil from it so i got fresh oil change

Agree with everything besides the Dynamic LED side markers...Amazon has the same ones for a fraction of the price. And they are good to go.

You get tickets for tint over 40% in LA and it's illegal to tint the front window except 7" from the top.
I have 5% on my windows and 25% on my windshield even though it looks badass, I get pulled over all the time for it. don’t regret it tho

If you have those diodes dynamix marker lights they will mess with the air sensors on the tires, that could’ve been your problem with them.

These are port fuel injection engines, not direct injection. The catch can is worthless on these vehicles

I can pretty much verify that. The radar detector is a waste of money. You’re basically caught once the detector is able to register the radar.
