Sure sounds like some accepting folks alright, huehue
on the surface yes... Thai society as a whole is more accepting of trans/LGBT. However the Thai family unit itself is still usually very traditional. Most Thais only accept Trans/Gays as long as it's not in their own family. Bell's father at first took it hard when she came out, but thankfully he came to terms with her gender identity.
I'm not gay or trans but I remember talking to my dad about the subject. My dad said he doesn't hate LGBT, he says he feels sorry for them because he thinks it's a mental disorder... take from that what you will. That's the thing... most Thai people/parents are fine with you having gay friends but they generally don't want to have LGBT in there own family. It's the two-faces of polite society.
Ive watched this clip so many times over the years, and I still love it.
Bell is gorgeous, and her voices is just lovely, her male voice sooo sexy.

Was NOT expecting THAT!!!! It was brilliant. I thought I was watching another Greg Pitchard. (Britain's Got Talent 2009) I was expecting her to be a good singer but I wasn't expecting her to change her voice. Really good. I liked her.
This makes me so emotional and happy. Everyone everywhere should react like this when they realise they've met a transgender person. Just everyone.

I'm straight male and holy fucking moly i just fell inlove with the male voice, now i'm doubting my gender.
My dad showed me this in 2011, and I was amazed at how such skill is possible. It was my earliest exposure to trans people as far as I can remember. Little did I know back then that I too was just like her all along. Now I'm living my life as a girl, and working as hard as I can to improve my girl voice to be able to sing again, this time as my true self.

Admittedly, I don't any transgender people. But, they're people too which means that they are my brothers and sisters. This video restores my faith in humanity.

Anyways, she's got a great voice and I looked her up on wiki so I hope she'll continue to have a good career for as long as she wants.
