Thanks Jay & Kenna for sharing your adventures with us ! I'm too old to sail but, you sure are giving me bunches of ideas of where to go for short vacations ! Take care wherever you are.......
Been following for quite a while, I'm based in Victoria BC, live on my Catalina 30 (I know, fiberglass😢 ) but this channel has been great for learning more and more about boat systems and such. Anyway, I loved this journey, was not expecting to see my birthplace in the background (Alert Bay, where the Halibut was picked up). And I attended High-school in Port McNeill, you're very correct that the arsoned burl is the best thing in that town!
The stunning footage and detailed explanations are perfect for both beginners and experienced sailors alike. Keep up the great work-can't wait to see where the wind takes you next!" Solid BooK !!
We went to Carrizal after you in May and had the complete opposite experience!! Oh man, how weather can make or break a place! That dinghy climb made me feel a lot more human. Thank you for that! 😂😂❤
Thanks so much for watching guys!!! 😃❤️ You we’re like JUST behind our cruising schedule hahaha so funny how that works! We’ll see y’all down south I’m sure! Can’t wait to share an anchorage⛵️
Bording dinghy from water. Go to stern & step on skeg of out board. Easy. When going ashore on said dinghy 7 there is a swell lift engine & row in backwards. That way water won't come over the transom, and the bow will break the wave. Hope this helps guys.
tie a rope with a loop that hangs just enough in the water that you can put your foot in and makes climbing in to the boat a little easier all though that was kinda funny. you got this girl.ᕙ(`▿´)ᕗ
