    Such clear and precise instructions. I am not much of a mechanic but love watching your videos. Great job!

    Jason, I had the same vibration in the wheel. I had the front wheels re-balanced. That worked..

      That was the first thing that I tried. Unfortunately it didn't really make any difference on mine. I'm glad it worked for you.

    Nice video, I watched out of curiosity since I did this job on mine last year. Had to look away when you were using the widow-maker spring compressors, I really hate those! Keep up the great work!

      What spring compressors should I use? I'm getting ready to do this job soon. Thanks.

    The axle nut. Was that hard to remove and out back on? Doesn’t it require something like 340 ft/lbs of torque? How did you do that?

    • @jasonsporschechannel945
      @jasonsporschechannel945  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, the rear axel nut had to be removed. I used a pneumatic impact wrench and started on a #1 and moved up to #4 when it came off (#5 would have been the highest torque). So when I put it back on I used the #4 torque and have to assume it's torqued right because I don't have a torque wrench that goes to 340. It's not the ideal way to do it, but it seems to have worked.
      Thanks for watching.

    No bump stop ! MOT failure in the UK.

    Great video. Have you figured out the rattle noise over bumps yet?

    • @jasonsporschechannel945
      @jasonsporschechannel945  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I eventually replaced all the suspension parts and adjusted the front trunk latch to get rid of all the exterior rattles and squeaks. Now the car drives great, but I can hear all the interior noises and need to fix them.
      Thanks for watching

    Which Bilstein shock did you go with, OEM?

      Bilstein 22-113313 Suspension Strut Assembly, Front, and Bilstein 22-113320 Suspension Strut Assembly, Rear from Amazon. Thanks for watching

    for the love of god! Do not do this without a spring compressor.

    I am sorry, but there are many things wrong with this video.

    youve missed out the bump stop

    • @jasonsporschechannel945
      @jasonsporschechannel945  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      good eye. I didn't realize that the bump stops were missing until I did the rear shocks (there was still a little rubber left on the rear ones). So I had to remove and disassemble the front shocks again once I got all four bump stops. Thanks for watching.
