      All part of a web of lies the federal govt feeds us. There is no such thing as taxpayer dollars. It is an excuse to not fund programs that people desperately need, why would they do this? Look at education for example. If you don't fund public schools, that leaves a space for for profit charter schools to come in to reap profits. Same for Big pharma, same for healthcare. Taxpayers don't fund the federal govt. The federal govt does not spend tax payer money, all govt spending is paid for by entering in numbers into bank accounts.

    • @rawr6266
      @rawr6266 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@henrygustav7948 Charter schools are way better then public schools on average. If government didn’t zone school and gave money depending on performance and such we might see public schools turn it around. Most government funded things are full of corruption department of Ed/California’s high speed rail/Ffs I saw a bathroom government built in a park that cost millions... there’s so many examples of this shit.

    • @henrygustav7948
      @henrygustav7948 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rawr6266 I'd have to see some stats on that, but it IS the Governments fault no doubt. They should be fully funding public schools period. They don't because that gives them an excuse to open up Charter schools many of which operate at the same level or underperform. Yes govt funded things are full of corruption, so are privately funded things. The difference is the with Govt at least we elect those people. There are tons of examples of neoliberalism all over, defunding and cutting Govt spending so that private actors can have a market from which to profit off of. That is why we don't have healthcare, its why we don't have fully funded public schools, its why we have unemployment. Making life difficult, making getting healthcare difficult, making getting a job difficult is all a part of policy of control because that means you are more willing to take on the crap jobs, willing to put up with employer abuses, willing to take low wages. This is called neoliberalism and we have had it for decades.
      The federal govt can provide the money to states to fund all their priorities and needs if they wanted to. Its all by design and none of it is necessary.

      Rand Paul & co. should be passing legislation to remove these perks, prevent future frivolous expenditures, & defund these wasteful agencies. THEY are the ones who allocate the money into the bills, THEY are the ones who can take it out. Responsible stewardship over the public's money is their JOB. The more fiscally responsible Congresspeople should get a line item veto, to enable them to challenge & remove such items when they are hidden in unrelated legislation, & place them in a separate bill called "miscellaneous appropriations of taxpayer funds" & then force Congressthieves to vote for or against THAT on C-span. The problem is we elect them & then turn over the entire US Treasury to them, to do as they please without any restraint at all. Then when Rand Paul spends an hour bitching & bloviating about it, and nothing more, we orgasm. Oooh, at least one guy is "doing something." No, he's really not.

To that end: "Jury Nullification: The Evolution of a Doctrine" has 3/4 of the answer. The remaining 1/4 is "run for state legislature and sheriff and win," after reading and understanding that book. If you don't like it following the rules on someone else's website, go make your own instead of being a little bitch about it. Chairs are empty, no one's home.
      The politicians spend money from corporations to get elected, and then ram through 'legislation' and spending that only helps the corporate donors.
      Most of the corporations would've gone bankrupt ages ago had there not been such fantastic 'business' opportunities created by the government. And the only reason that these 'businesses' don't really have any competition is because of all the regulations for 'safety' of some kind created by the very corporations as a point to heavily limit and restrict any up-and-comers that could compete with them.

Just take a closer look at the EU and Australia! Also Germany has had their share of corruption exposed from time to time. Of course the most "notorious" if you can call it that ... was of course, Hitler! In Other briefer words - one doesn't have to look very far into the present, the past and possibly projected into the future ( although I hope not) and as I implied at the start of this - wherever you find politics and politicians you will find people (greedy people) who will take advantage of any system that doesn't have enough "checks and balances"
      to prevent this from happening. Over and over again. So, in closing, I'll point out that "Only in America"
      is rather short sighted.
      God bless Rand Paul (of Kentucky) and I 🙏 pray - God bless America 🇺🇸!

      There’s a few things I like about him but “C’MON MAN, ARE YOU A JUNKIE”? He stands there talking about “wasteful spending” while he’s putting up useless poster boards that costs at LEAST $50 dollars each (something he does all the time). He’s never concerned about wasted money when the republicans are in full control. Just like the left that complains about spending when republicans are in control. Neither party talks about wasted money when they’re the ones wasting it. Government has been throwing away BILLIONS every month for DECADES, and it only gets worse every single year. I do like Paul (mostly), but there’s a lot about him that’s completely hypocritical. Like wasteful spending that he himself has been a part of for YEARS. He’s only bitching about it right now cus it’s the opposition that’s doing it. Next time republicans have total control, he’ll be disregarding all that, and complaining about how “democrats are holding back our progress”. It’s typical left/right rhetoric that is used to distract us while BOTH parties continues to screw us all over. If he REALLY wanted to help cut costs, he would work with congress to get a new bill rolling to pay every politician the minimum wage from the state they “represent”. There’s TONS of other ways they can cut costs to a fraction of what things are now too. But that would mean less pay for him and all his ilk, and taxpayer funded travel expenses, meals and all the other day to day things we pay for. Then he’d work to get rid of their retirement plan that pays them WAY more after a few years of “work” than 90% of the population makes working 40 hours a week at a minimum wage job. Then there’s the left over yearly budget that gets used on spending sprees that BOTH parties do every year, cus if they don’t use all that money at the end of the year, they don’t get that much for next year’s budget. It was around 80 BILLION left over last year. That could have gone towards restarting the economy, but they all decided to use it for more unnecessary projects and to give themselves some bonuses for “a job well done”. I’m not a fan of either party, but I like the dems LESS than I like republicans. BOTH sides are corrupt to the core and they have been for several decades. They’ve been working together hand in hand since before most of us were even born, to ensure no third party wins any bigger elections, so the people wouldn’t see just how BADLY the two main parties have been screwing us over. The only REAL difference between the two is, democrats screw us and tell us “it’s for our own good” and their media cohorts twist it and convince all their voters it’s the truth. Republicans screw us and tell us “it was the democrats” and fox “news” tells all their viewers “democrats did this” while ignoring what republicans did. This 2-party SHAM they’ve got us trapped in is destroying the country. And it’s all so the two parties can continue lining their pockets and keeping us all divided and only voting for D or R. None of these people REALLY cares about average people. If they did, they would surely be showing it in some way or another. But it’s nothing but “us vs them” BS that’s designed to keep all of us at each other’s throats and distracted so they can continue with business as usual.
      Sure, Paul certainly seems to “care” more than the average politician, but if it comes to the republican party or the people he “represents”, he’ll choose the party every time. They all will. The sooner we all get that FACT in our heads, the sooner we can ALL unite together and vote in third/fourth/fifth party candidates and have others try to fix all the damages the two main parties have caused for all these years.

      That so called gas station is a disgusting use of the word! Its not a gas station where cars pump gas into their tanks! Thete is no gas station for people to pump gas and by some potato chips and soda. This Paul is using the term gas station and even acts confused because the cars dont run on natural gas. The reality is that money went to the restoration of a massive natural gas drilling and pipe lines to distribute that natural gas to be piped into to a nearby city of hundreds of thousands of people. It provides natural gas for heating and electricity production for a city near by and produces enough natural gas to pipe in and truck out massive amounts of natural gas to increase the standard of living in the region.
      We are the ones that bombed the massive natural gas extraction operation in the first place. So this vast natural gas field has nothing to do with a natursl gas station that fills care with natural gas! That is beyond a lie. Even more absurd is the fact that most of the money was provided by private investment in this massive natural gas extraction and distribution operation because it is a fantastic investment. If you crunch the numbers the Pentagon spent 3 million dollars. The military spent 3 million dollars on what was a 500 million dollar price to get the massive natural gas field back to full production. 3 milliom on a half of a billion dollar restoration is a tiny amount pf money considering hundreds of millions of dollars wealthy Americans and Europeans invested in it. The claim that 30 soldiers were needed to protect a tiny little natural gas station sounds really stupid since cars dont run on natural gas! The truth is 30 afghani soldiers have to be protecting the massive natural gas extraction and distribution facility at all time there is no gas station though there is a pressurised natural gas system so semi trucks can fill their tank with natural gas and then truck it into small towns and ligjtly populated areas to sell so these small communities can power natural gas generators. This 500 million dollar investment with private money that will yield massive profits for the investors has nothing to do with a gas station and the 30 soldiers for security is for a vast network of pipelines and massive storage tanks. It is a prime target for terrorist to blow up so the 30 afghanis soldiers are critical to protecting a natural gas infrastructure and field. Then to add injury to insult our military paid only 3 million dollars on a facility that once operational would reduce dramaticly the costs of the military to operate in areas that had no way of producing electricity. Its all part of a huge huge plan to modernize the energy production in the entire region using private capital from billionaire investors . The military now spends many millions less by contributing the three million to the project. Every thing these republicans, pretending to be fiscally responsible, is based on lies, exaggerations and outright bizzare claims about a non existent gas station that only has natural gas which is useless for passenger vehicles that this republican just said doesn't make any sense because cars don't run off of natural gas. Republicans have a thing for being lied into becoming angry enough to want to kill there fellow americans and over throw the government based on totally fabricated claims. Im sure Rand Paul believes what he is saying because he got his information from people that lied to him about but republicans could learn a lesson or two from AOC!
