    Thanks for this. Most other channels would have talked for 30 minutes through this process, but you did it in 5 with.

    Still relevant 8 years later. Bless you Povilas for making such a short video instead of 30 minutes of faffing about

    I never realised Rectangular Pattern can be used with non-rectangular axes! Great tip!

    Hey Povilas Sabaliauskas, thank you very much for putting this up for the world to see. This effort is exactly what I needed to do!

    I like your approach because it is elegant ! I will work on it to develop different patterns applied on surfaces instead of cutting them. Regards

    In my version, I had to select the direction before selecting the object; contrary to the popup box instructions. The spacing between the polygons can be adjusted with the dimension tool.
    A 30 by 30 array brings F360 to a crawl

    What is the difference between press pull and extrude couldn't we extrude surface at all

  • @Tonicwine999

    Really good tutorial but I would have liked to see how to change the profile of the honeycomes, I feel that extruding from the flat honeycomes to the wavey profile isnt the most accurate way to do this. I'd expect that the extruded honeycomes wont be exact hexagons on the way plate.

    This is a beautiful pattern and I love the idea of push pull on the hexagons to give it the interesting pop! I think that you should, however, use the pattern along a path feature as described here: /watch?v=Kj6h6ARtITE?t=161 so as to extrude them with the shape. None the less, thank you for showing us how you do this pattern.

    Completely Lost Sorry. No Matter what I do I can not get the directions to follow the lines. Any one have any Idea's why?

    • @TheStlgg
      @TheStlgg 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had the same problem. If you look very close he deselects the two angle lines then selects the "Direction/s" then selects the two angled lines. i hope this helps
